• 2 Mafia Goons A
• 2 Mafia Goons B
• 8 Vanilla Townies
• 1 Town Paranoid Gun Owner

Mechanics

• Daystart
• All 4 Mafia Goon are in the same faction and win together, but members of Mafia A do not know the members of Mafia B, and vice versa. Each half has a separate chat and a Compulsive nightkill.
• The game employs Accelerated start.
• For every mafia member killed or lynched, the next night phase is skipped. Skipped night phases can be accumulated.
• If either side of the mafia fails to submit a nightkill, it will be randomized.

This is an interesting setup.

I am even in favor of a D1 lynching.

One of the arguments I usually make against a D1 lynch is that the mafia won't vote to lynch one of their own.

In this setup, each of the four mafia only knows one other mafia, so a "random" lynch is more likely to hit scum than otherwise.

Another argument I usually make is that we should wait until some investigations are made.  There are no investigations to be had in this setup so we might as well try to get lucky D1.

Finally, there is a bigger reward for getting lucky and lynching a scum D1: we get to skip the night where 2 more kills will occur by the scum.

So I am in favor of a D1 lynching but haven't decided on whom is most deserving of my vote.

so there are two mafia factions, everyone is vanilla except one PGO

interesting set up.  gotta rely on being active.  wont get lucky with PR results in this game.  If we arent active, town will lose.

But they stand a chance of killing each other. 

To survive, I want to look just scummy enough so that each of the 2 mafia sides think I might be on their team but not so scummy that the townies want to lynch me.

Also, when the scum hit the Paranoid Gun Owner, one of the scum will die and then they lose the next night.

I like the balance in this setup.

Getting 4 mafia will need high levels of activity. We can't slack. D1 lynch is a must.

..Except for the fact that he raises several very good points. Lynching in a game with no investigative roles is the only true way to obtain any information. It's a bonus that scum might unknowingly lynch scum.

same with this... makes me kind of feel like it could be a scum pretending to not know the answer and appear town since a scum player would know if they have day talk or not... could just be an attempt at cover...
