  1. I guess you are right on that. I was thinking more of a modern day army that recieves rigorous training and that can beat the crap of most mercs. I don't think that Ser Gerold, Ser Arthur and Ser Oswell would have turned the battle around. No matter how powerful they were, they were just 3 men. And three men can't stop an army.

  4. Serously? I had thought that a being of your wit would come up with something more original. But you asked. The answer is man. Babies crawl in 4 legs, they grow up and walk with two and as they grow old, they use a cane as a third leg. I WIN
  5. You wanna take my win? Say your riddle Sphinx. I shall answer it.

  7. The MCU has nerfed Thor more than any other character. Don't get me wrong, I love Thor, he is my favorite Avenger, but those movies were the most average of all in the MCU.
  8. In the Tower of Joy, there were only 3 Kingsguar, Ser Gerold Hightower, Ser Arthur Dayne, and Ser Oswell Whent. Ned Stark arrived with six other dudes and only Ned and Howland Reed, Jojen and Meera's father, survived. That shows the quality of the 3 Kingsguard. Sellswords are actually well trained they are better than normal levies of most of the lords(except for the lannisters, cause their armies are pretty well armored).Only prblm with sellswords is that they are quick to run or change sides the moment they see they can loose the battle, but odds were in rahegars favour so They would have surely stayed till last to get the prize after winning battle. The only thing Rhaeghar armies lacked were knights since they only had knights of Reach and a few who were his supporters but even then they were not that far behind. They Would have won the battle if only Barristan the bold would have done what he was supposed to do protect Rhaegar. He was a complete failure As for tower joy,7 of Ned's guys engaged 3 of the kingsguard and truth be told there was no way ned and company could have defeated those 3,arthur dawyne most probably committed suicide there to save jon.So u can say he was cool but even then I would say they were quite terrible at their job I find that not to be true. Sellswords usually have no formal training, no form and no strategy. They are basically mercenaries. And as mercenaries, they fight for the highest bidder. Any well trained soldier can defeat a sellsword. There are some special cases like Bronn, but those are far and between. Also, Rhaegar's forces in the Battle of the Trident were 40 000 strong, with 10 000 Dornishmen, 4 000 knights and the rest were were archers, freeriders, and foot soldiers. The infantry consisted of both spearmen and pikemen. (

  11. Because having Thor and Hulk in the war wouldn't be fair to the other human characters in the Civil War, the comic book writers decided to write them off. Hulk was sent to another planet, from which he returned during the events of World War Hulk (where he beat the crap out of Black Bolt) and Thor is in Asgard dealing with Ragnarok. Both are just way too powerful to include, even if the MCU has done a great job at nerfing them. For example, in the comics, Thanos once said that the Hulk is one of the few creatures he avoids tangling with. And that comes from the guy who decimated the entirety of Marvel's superheroes in one fight. Thor was designed to be a character stronger than the Hulk. It literally says that he can swing Mjolnir at several times the speed of light and that he is so powerful that he has escaped the gravity of a neutron star. The MCU made them a lot weaker (understatement of the year), but still, Thor and Hulk would be just too powerful for both sides. Even if they sided differently, something I can imagine, the other fighters wouldn't be able to get any fighting done. Marvel's wikia states that both Hulk and Thor from Earth 199999 (the MCU) have unknown limits in strenght. Can you imagine those guys fighting against the completely human Iron Man, Black Widow, etc? Me neither. first? hasn't there been like 5 spiderman movies.. The first 3 Spiderman movies were made by Fox Studios with Toby Mcguire as Spiderman. The rights were then transfered to Sony, who did the Amazing Spiderman movies with Andrew Garfield. None of those 5 movies have any correlation with the MCU, as they exist in a universe of their own. If Fox would relinquish their rights to the X-men, then the MCU could become much clearer and better, considering that in the comics, it is Avengers: Civil War. It literally divided the characters into two groups, those against the SRA and those in favor. Spiderman is one of the most important characters in that arc. He starts in Tony's side, but after realising that him exposing his true identity caused harm to his Aunt May, he joined Cap's side.
