Gonna go out on a limb and say we don't have 7 scum in this game lol In the time before the human race as we know it today, the Forerunners existed across the majority of the galaxy. Their plan to defeat the flood consisted of two parts, which could be executed individually if necessary. 1. Shield Worlds: Basically a small bubble in space (diameter of a tea plate) which contained a Dyson Sphere (Sun to Earth diameter, but concave to the sun) for the Forerunners to live in. 2. The Halo rings whos purpose is to defeat the flood. However, the rings were not designed to kill the flood, but to kill their food source consisting of all intelligent life in the galaxy. There are several classes of Forerunners who had high positions in the lore, one of them being the Librarian who was a Lifegiver. Essentially, her role in the events that near and after the activation of the halo rings is what saved life in the galaxy. This Librarian collected samples of all sentient life in the galaxy in order to restart after the activation of the halo rings. Why did I type all this? Basically to state that not all Forerunners are scum. Unless the Ur-Didact is a role in the game, I would assume any Forerunner aligned players are friendly. I don't remember who said it above me, but I would assume roles to be: UNSC Covenant There may be other roles and maybe even other alignments, but I think at this point in the timeline the only Scum would be Covenant. MK was a Covenant Elite, basically super strong soldier type.

Specifically regarding number of factions as a self proclaimed halo expert: UNSC (Humans) Insurrectionists (Human Rebels) Office of Naval Intelligence or ONI (typically UNSC aligned but sometimes objectives...depart from eachother) Covenant (Aliens) Alien Rebels (Sometimes align with ONI) The Flood (eats everything, wants to take over the galaxy) Forerunners (doubt they are here but they exist) Depending on the specific point in time we are in the Halo universe, things can get a little more complicated. Otherwise, those are the major players.

Dang KevinH, I understand wanting to vote out those that may be inactive, but there has already been an elimination this day. Why so aggressive? Thanks Brewer and lilweird. I did miss most of day one due to not being aware of its start. It just happened to coincide with a brief period of inactivity on the computer as a whole. It is getting awfully close. I'm not compelled to change my mind as MK seems frustrated that either: 1. He is being picked on, though I have no frame of reference for this as I haven't played any other games with yall 2. Pure frustration out of a lucky pick by Brewer who picked two out of 16 and one of them happened to be MK AND happened to be of different alignment… I'm not fully prepared to vote just yet, but I'm leaning towards MK

I would hate to vote someone out on a 50/50 shot...but if it must be done, and they are willing, the greater good must be taken into account. I also just want to mention that we are taking Brewers word as pure fact here. Is there any possibility that this story is somehow a fabrication regardless of how elaborate it is?

Something else I am curious about: Why was there no incident last night? Is there a logical reason for the baddies to keep us around? Are there non-violent actions that the baddies could have taken last night such as intel gathering that we may be unaware of?

Does this mean someone tried to kill you? No, just that the Covenant are a ruthless enemy.

Why is it that I have my rifle aimed at them? Am I a cop that helped put all these inmates into jail? If that is the case and I know they are coming for me, I might consider opening fire. If I am just some person with no association at all, I will likely stay put and do nothing.
