Its not so much a size limit but too busy of a picture (many tiny details, complex backgrounds/color schemes) doesn't translate well. That's why I tried to stick with a predominantly black/white color scheme and simpler images.
As Narsis pointed out with Foxtrot/Hades the details don't stand out well. (I like Foxxy's the way it is though
)
