I've played Civ II, III, IV and Sim City 3000 and 4, so my opinion is unbiased :P

Although I like both games, I prefer Civ. On one you have to raise a city, on the other you have to raise an empire, the difference is that you aren't alone on one of them.

>_>

The Sim City series pretty much died when EA took over Maxis :(

All Sim City titles were great and I played them religiously when I was a child.

Civilization is a good series, and the CTP series were good unofficial Civ games.

Can there be a "both" option?

If not, I'll prolly vote Sim City

Civ IV and its expansions were awesome. As for the sim city games, It was a tie between sim city classic and 2000.
