We used to do this on another forum I visit.

 

Basically artist X calls out artist Y and then moderator P selects a theme.

 

Both the artists make a sig for that theme which is to be submitted on a scheduled date. Then the votes are left open to the public to vote who won that battle. And then their name is put on the wall of fame or something with the sig they made.

 

And yes it doesn't have to be 1 v 1 it could be bigger.

I'd prefer if it was one category. two category = two ideas. If we stick to one idea it makes this contest more interesting..

 

Not sure how to explain it but it just does.

 

EDIT: 1 theme everyone jumps in and be as creative as they can.

right...there are a lot of aspects to nature: space, forests, deserts, weather, oceans, etc...

 

although i think what was meant in this case was something more...floral/fauna.
