If my proposal for revamping the Barbican is accepted (or if not), I believe we should start a Signature of the Week competition.

Prizes for first, second, and third participants, the prizes are shown below.

2nd Place


3rd Place


Would anyone be interested in competing in this? I'm fairly sure Samus and Nerau would be interested and I am of course interested, but we'll need more artists than that to compete for more of a challenge and such. The vote would go somewhere where there's a lot of attention on the forum to attract more voters to decide the winners and such.

SOTM (if we do it) would be a separate thing that would be held on the 4th week instead of the 4th SOTW.

Entries would be open for 3 days, then there'd be a poll open for 3 days, then one day left over for an intermission period.

Here's the thing, if you give the awards every week you could have 30 of them to fit in your sig.....

Maybe could do every 2 weeks....7 days to work, then poll for 6 days...then announce winner and new theme on the 7th day.

Could do 1st and 2nd place..more meaningful that way if you win.

if that is the case why not just medals like we have for IRON awards

Also, depending on the amount of interest, there may only be a first place.
