Tahir Salil ibn Abd al-Qadir al-Rashid is, in his duty as the Thirteenth Imam and Imam al-Ummah, the spiritual leader of the Commonwealth of Islam. As such he is the final arbiter and ultimate authority for commentary and interpretation of the Quran.

Tahir Salil ibn Abd al-Qadir al-Rashid is the head of state of the Rashid dominions and Amir al-Mu'minin. His role as the head of state is limited only to the dominions that claim loyalty to the Rashid legacy.
