I'm personally looking to jump on the playstation tbh.

I am pretty sure the way Microsoft announced the handling of used/internet/etc. eliminated a giant portion of their market share.

 

They are going to cave and change probably or will suffer insane losses.

Microsoft has definetly push boundaries with social multimedia and cable TV stuff, but has limit more boundaries then i ever expected like used games and internet. Also Microsoft has way better games and the kniect kicks butt. 

 

Ive been an Xbox fan for years but these time i believe Sony won... So i think ill pick Sony

Its funny, I was telling a friend today that I'm glad the next consoles are coming out. Not because I ever plan on getting one, but because games that get ported from consoles to PC will actually be somewhat more worthy than the crap ports we have today. It sucks having a powerful PC and having developers dumb down games so they will play on a 6-7 year old consoles.

 

What they should be doing is making a PC game, and then porting PC games to consoles. Its better to downgrade content for a port than it is to improve content for a better system. But of course that will never happen because the console market is where the money is. Its just a shame that we have the capability for higher quality games but don't see them because practically all games released on consoles are getting up ported to PC. When in reality it should be the other way around to take advantage of the high end PC specs.

I'm going to get both because that's what I do, I'm American and I consume :/

 

That being said I felt the xbox was kicking PS4 ass until they went full retard and mandated you must have a persistent online connection. Now the PS4 is in the lead, at least in my book.

Yeah I couldn't play the games I play on a console with a keyboard and a mouse.

The only games I play with a mouse is strategy games such as C&C or AoE.

The only console game I played that is more worthwhile playing on a PC is Skyrim.

 I will be going for a PS4, however I am now seriously thinking of buying a Wii U since the announcement of Earthbound (Mother 2) coming to the virtual console as its a game I have wanted to play for years.

I'm going to buy an Xbox 360 when the price drops because that's what I do, I'm American and broke :/

- costs 100 dollars more

- less powerful than PS4

- can't play used games

- no offline play

I still play MW2 with the PC and i'll tell you it's the best experience ever, it's even better because I can play on dedicated servers with unlimited amounts of modding powers.

 

Also for anyone still doubting PS4 vs Xbox.

One reason as to why the Xbox is failing so hard is because it is trying to be a more a PC than a console, if console gamers wanted something that is like a PC then they may as well buy a PC.

That said it is trying to be everything, jack of all trades and master of none.

 

PS4 will be for the master gaming race, PC is for specialist gamers who play Skyrim in all it's glory and a few other games.

I skipped the PS3 so it will be even better, beyond two souls is all I need.

the master gaming race is already on the pc. i really don't know of any games that have spawned such a interest in games as blizz games. let's face it, e-sport are mainly for pc users. it's cute that xbox and ps users think they are the best gamers... but when they can gather up the crowd that you can see at a SC final, we'll talk.

 

 

as for controlers, is it me or it's awkward playing a fps game on anything else than a kb+mouse?

ive honestly hooked up a controller to my comp a couple of times for games when i dont really want to concentrate, like bulletstorm. and keyboard and mouse is a LOT more sensitive than a controller, thats why they never hooked up the dedicated servers for pc and consoles, the pc gamers would win. And i dunno about the gaming thing above, i mean on twitch LOL has the most people watching and lol is just awful. Plain awful.
