June 13, 201313 yr comment_592285 Well in my personal opinion i think Microsoft is trying to stop piracy games or hacked consoles, wich makes sense for a guy who pays $60 for a new game knowing that your fucking friend gets it for $5 Report
June 13, 201313 yr comment_592286 I use a keyboard and mouse when I want to bore myself and strain my eyes.A bunch of nerds in a room together completing for a nerd trophy doesn't impress me much. There is only a couple of games on a PC worth playing, you may as well use it as media player instead of gaming. Report

I have really tried to play RPG in pc, but i find RPG games in console better, SKYRIM for example: TV Screen than pc screen is biggerPlaying with a control than a mouse+keybored is betterGameplay is faster and more agile Report
June 13, 201313 yr comment_592290 pretty much every console game is on pc and pc will pretty much always run better (when you have the right specs) than a console, add in modding ability. And to the idea of no pirating, i mean its just got stupid now no, your freind cant watch this movie you bought, he has to pay it too no, your brother cant play on his xbox without making a new gamertag and buying the game again as its assigned to the console. I mean come on, sharing games has always been REALLY big in all gaming. Why would you want to stop it? Report

Why would you want to stop it? i dont want to stop it, but just saying these are precations a console must take, i mean they know theyll have looses by players not buying the console for those reasons but they also know if they keep that path theyll have the same looses by piracy. I have really tried to play RPG in pc, but i find RPG games in console better, SKYRIM for example: TV Screen than pc screen is biggerPlaying with a control than a mouse+keybored is betterGameplay is faster and more agile The reason I don't play Skyrim on a console anymore is because I want to enjoy it fully on a PC, with better graphics and mods.I have cables to connect it to a TV so it is no big deal for me.You can just hook up an xbox 360 type controller to play it on the PC, that's how my brother played it before anyway. It really depends what you want from Skyrim, I want something other than vanilla. Report
June 13, 201313 yr comment_592294 also on the post which i didnt see, why not just try hooking up your tv to a hdmi cable and playing it from the pc with the tv acting as a second screen? if you really wanted to play with a controller you can do it on a pc, although your example is rather bad as the inventory management on skyrim was literally built for console, thats why it sucks, bet youve never even played morrowind there is no diffrence in gameplay...at all, its basically a straight up port. I mean if your talking controls you can go for a controller but thats just less efficent overall Report
June 13, 201313 yr comment_592297 and i still prefer it on xbox, its just simpler then doing all that stuff, i just put the disk and play... but if you tell me about Elder scrools online i wont argue Report
June 13, 201313 yr comment_592298 do you really think that you want micrsoft to have something which can constantly watch you....when they where one of the first to sign up for the NSA's prism...you really think thats ok. Its such an orwellian concept >.> also notice how ps4 is comletley fine with people lending games, i just dont trust microsoft in having something to spy on me, i dont like the fact that they dont like lending games, i dont like the fact that they are choosing how many people can play a game and choosing how many can watch a movie. I dont like it in general. Report
June 13, 201313 yr comment_592300 well is your doing something bad, you would feel bad, i really would not care, what are they gona watch me moving my fingers?!?, but you dont know when or even if theyre watching, so it will just be a meh... as the time pass by Report

June 14, 201313 yr Author comment_592344 Smoother on xbox than PC? Remember a PCs hardware can be upgraded, I don't think your xbox can as easily Report
June 14, 201313 yr comment_592376 It's not even a debate, you may as well not play Skyrim if it is not on the PC with mods.Actually you may as well not play Skyrim if you're not using mods. Report
June 14, 201313 yr comment_592397 i started playing morrowind again latley, and it sucks how so much of the lore is stolen and watered down in skyrim :'( the elder scrolls has delicous lore but its so watered down in the new games Report

Games like Morrowind, Neverwinter Nights, and Final Fantasy all do a great job at making you feel immersed inside the story. Its interesting that as games become more advanced, it seems its harder for them to replicate that same kind of feeling. Report
June 14, 201313 yr comment_592424 I am an xbox fan, but they are really shooting themselves in the foot. The console I'm excited for is the Steam Box. Report

June 14, 201313 yr comment_592426 The core issue between PC and Consoles is not the method of control (though I consider the controller inferior), but the adaptability, which the PC will always win. Report
June 19, 201313 yr comment_593564 looks like microsoft is totally back tracking http://www.giantbomb.com/articles/microsoft-to-pull-complete-reversal-on-xbox-one-dr/1100-4673/ The tug-of-war between Microsoft and Sony just got more interesting. Multiple sources inform me Microsoft will announce what amounts to a complete reversal on its DRM policies for Xbox One today. What does this mean? No more always online requirement The console no longer has to check in every 24 hours All game discs will work on Xbox One as they do on Xbox 360 An Internet connection is only required when initially setting up the console All downloaded games will function the same when online or offline No additional restrictions on trading games or loaning discs Region locks have been dropped Report
June 19, 201313 yr comment_593577 It is unclear what caused this huge change in policy this bit in the article you linked made me laugh Report
June 19, 201313 yr comment_593611 #1 Rule of consoles. Never be a first mover. Wait and see what happens... See XBOX red-ring fiasco. Report
