Design the IRON War Flag

 

Yes, you heard it right. We are looking for designers to create our long awaited War Flag. All submissions are welcome and the competition is open to all IRON members as well as people from outside the alliance. Deadline for submission is August 15, 2013.

 

After submission deadline, the members of the Republic will vote for their choice (or vote none) and chose the War Flag of the Republic. If there are many submissions we may shortlist the final number of submissions to be voted on (three to five).

 

 

File must be in JPG, GIF, or PNG format. Max size of file must be 500KB

 

Submissions may be posted in this thread, or mailed to me over PM

 

One may submit more than one design

 

Cash prizes for winners may be available

To me that actually looks  amazing also, just the black background seems a bit plain to my eyes think it has to do with the room between.

But this one is much better, expecially as it looks like it's been soaked in the blood of our enemies on a number of occassions ... after it was dried out, naturally

Any chance the pixellation in the black borders getting smoothed out?

 

I also liked the idea of a fire wreath, the bevelling didn't matche the background flame though which is why it looks off.

Can wreaths leafs be like...blades? 

 

Should there be a gradient on the shapes in the foreground? Also, imo needs more contrast between the background and foreground image objects...

Yeah, if someone from IRON could give me the link to your plain symbol I can get it right. Also yeah I was thinking of a fire wreath as well.  Guess I could try a blades wreath.
