Just got the game on PS3 the pc version is sold out and digital download is on hold due to demand. Ill be making a character and joining a server. I will post details once im done. I would like to start an IRON clan if anyone is interested please post here

My last attempt at a FF online game ended with my paying 60$ for about 1/2 hour of game play. I'm probably going to hold off for destiny or the division before I jump into another mmo style game.

 

That being said let me know what you think of it. When it comes to games I'm just enough of an addict to try it if enough people give it a good review.

First impressions, Im using a logitech wireless mouse and keyboard as well as a ps3 controller. The controls on the ps3 control actually feel more natural than the mouse and keyboard. It still helps having both tho. Overall I like what I see, I was able to install, register, create character and begin playing with no issues, Ive heard the pc version has some issues with login and registration codes. The game is cross platform both pc and ps3 share the same account and servers so you can switch between platforms seamlessly, this was the reason i bought the ps3 version. I plan on picking up a copy of the game on pc once all the login and registration bugs are worked out so I can see the true graphical masterpiece in super high def quality, but I have to say playing on ps3 is alot smoother than say trying to play call of duty on both platforms. They did a great job of integrating the joystick controls.

So yea been playing this weekend, the game is great. The retail price is like $30 on PC and $40 on PS3. PS3 receives 30 Day free Subscription. This game reminds me of FFXI but a ton less confusing and a lot more solo friendly. The soundtrack is great too, they did a good job.

Just bought the PC version and linked my PS3 account. I havent played since the first month of release. I have a lvl 35 Summoner on Diablos server. The game is fun graphics are dope on my PC need some people to play with.

Ive got this but they dont sell Game Cards here in my country, and I dont even have a credit card.

I played FFXI quite a bit... I had friends there. When XIV was released I heard such awful things about it I didn't go for it.

I had to use a game pad on XI... it was unplayable with a mouse. Is XIV any better?

Oh yea XIV was terrible they had to completely re-release the game but its much better now
