I thought it was generally considered an "ok" game.
Personally I don't think I could enjoy it anywhere near where I could enjoy Saint's Row or GTA.

What's the best Saint's Row game?  I played Assassin's Creed and I like ACII the best, Brotherhood & Revelation was good but the third one wasn't that good and I didn't enjoy it as much...I am running out of good game to play and considering trying out Saint's Row but wasn't sure which version to get since I have not play the series at all...And I refuse to pay $60 for a game that's why I have not bought GTA V yet.  I used to pay $1 - $2 per game in Thailand when I was living there last year so anything over $25 is considered 'overprice' for me...

I like Sleeping Dogs because of the kung fu fighting style, main story was too short but the fighting is awesome once you get the hang of it.

I'm not quite the person to ask which Saint's row is the best as I have yet to play the 3rd and 4th games.

But I imagine 3rd is the best because from I seen you can use giant dildo's as weapons so it must be good, the 3rd is probably the most fun and I'm going to buy it soon.

I don't buy anything over $20, but that's only because I am student.

Gta 5 is so far best, 3 days of playing it as much as I can and i'm and not even half way.

I'm actually not digging it that much, I assumed I'd love it as I loved 4 and I've always been a fan of the series. (Besides San Andreas) In all honesty, I'd rather pick up and re-play 4 than keep playing 5. Although, I'm only at 20% completion, perhaps it gets better. Trevor is a brilliant, hilarious character, that's one thing 5 has going for it. I may just beat it and trade it in while it still has value, tbh.

I loved Sleeping Dogs, though I personally thought the campaign was way too short.

Ultimately though, if you're looking for fun in a sandbox game, I have to give my full recommendation to GTA 5.

Just Cause 2 is also a lot of fun to mess around in, another of my favorite sandbox games.

- Hmm..thank you all for your input, guess I will have to try Just Cause 2 for now and as far as Saint's Row goes, I'll do more research whether to get 3 or 4.

I guess I am just a cheap bastard since I don't want to pay too much for games, same goes for the next gen consoles, I am going to hold out until next year because I refuse to pay more $300 per console.  Besides, most people will have a better idea regarding PS4 Vs Xbox One, right now, I am leaning toward PS4 more though.

When  I was living in Thailand, I had my console modified to play the copy games (hence, the cheaper games purchases), the only bad thing about the modified console is, you can not play it online...but with the cheaper games, you can practically buy it and toss if you don't like it.

Wish they would make Sleeping Dogs 2...

I'm not sure if you played Far Cry 3 but it is the first game in the series that I played.

I played Just cause 1 and 2 when they came out.

It's worth perhaps checking out Far cry 3 on youtube to see if you would be interested in it.

If there was one game it is similar to it is Just Cause and imo it is enjoyable to play than Just cause.
