I'm not in IRON but that looks like it could be fun. I'm definitely going to give it a look in the later half of this week (first half is crazy busy lol).

If you are looking for an Alliance to join in Illyraid, I am a member of the STEEL.  We have a training Alliance named FORGE you might want to join.  I use the same name there as here.

So I started playing last night. I'm interested in this claim that multiple play styles are viable.... so I think I'll stick around for awhile.

 

I found STEEL in the alliance list and went to their boards. However, I couldn't find FORGE. I registered on your boards and I'll send a message to your diplomatic leader to see if I can't get my registration approved.

Fortunately, I am a leader of STEEL setting you up was easy.

FORGE is located waaaaaay down the alliance list as it is small atm and a bit hard to find.  We will take care of you in STEEL as well as anybody else that wants to try Illyriad.

Right now H? and RES are getting hammered with sieges but both sides are getting hurt.    I have seen armies of 3 million landing on one square.  Some of the Crows are fighting, some are not.

STEEL is not in this war and has publically stated so.  We have numerous newer players and would not be able to defend ourselves without asking for help.  So we are acting like a training alliance and growing our members.

I played this game maybe for around 2 years and quit. I quited right after consone-harmless war ended.

Harmless (H?) has a large number of strong Alliances arrayed against it.  It is not looking good for it.  You should come back.  New features have been added.
