December 28, 201312 yr comment_639499 In real post university life we do not have finals. We have free weekends, lots of money and nice relaxation. We also have to take 3 days of our annual leave just to have midday on the 24th until the 2nd of January on Holiday. It balances out I feel. Report

We will survive. Kudos to you though for going for a PhD! My BS will take 5 years, took a semester off for an internship (worth it) and another for other reasons. Then grad school, total will be around 5-6 years... I can't imagine doing about 8-10 years. Congratulations though! Report
