Oh, they will help and are generally decent peeps, but they will do their best to mess you up if they can pin something on you. Upping their crime-solving stats or taking your "drug-tainted" stuff for their bonuses will always trump the truth. As for preventing crime, it's rare that they get anywhere faster than 15 minutes minimum. By that time, you are bleeding dead on the street. Report
