Ebola Case in Texas

Featured Replies

Someone tell those Africans to STOP EATING MONKEYS. First AIDS, now Ebola...we are so genetically similar to primates that we are more prone to catching diseases from them, yet people still eat them and keep them as pets. Who knows what deadly strain of a new disease or mutated super virus will come from a monkey next? Sigh...

It looks like the second case may be a false alarm. They eat monkeys? That's just bizzare.

But then again... they might be saying "They eat cows? That's just bizzare".

"bushmeat"

and ebola is more likely bats, monkeys die from it aswell.

the cure is surviving, and medical care can boost your odds from abisimal 90% to 50%, I nice boost I might say :D

ebola can be seen as the flu (a rather bloody one I give you), your body can and will fight it but it needs to hang on when it does, people weakened or with no aid are virtual dead indeed.

Luckily I have a strong immune system then. I rarely get sick.

The irony is that if you came into contact with Spanish flu you'd be far more likely to die than a 60 yr old with a poor immune system.
