I played XI for a while and was planning to play XIV... but the game was largely hated when released, so I didn't take the dive.
The one thing I didn't like about XI was I absolutely had to play it with a game pad. Not very mouse friendly.
Can you tell me why I should play XIV now?

I'm actually new to the game.
They failed at launch but after they relaunched it and I think firing the original stuff behind version 1, it's like a completely new game.
Also they added chocobo racing and triple triad just recently :V
