The roleclaim wasn't the issue. It was the revealing other scum/not playing to achieve his role's objectives that ruined the game and landed him in hot water.

Exactly.  It is also normal for everyone to say they are not scum.  That isn't a role claim.

I was pretty excited to play as a scum, but now I am not scum.  Robert is probably scum, though.

This game is weird, Why in the world did Rafay say 

You have the same roles. 

Just Mod lazyness, or just a simple restart all same roles. 

Maybe he just changed a couple of people's roles, then sent a message to the rest saying "You have the same roles" (aka Mod laziness)

There was some humor intended with that post count.

 

Because of the probable existence of alignment-changing roles, we have to lynch early and often and get lucky to win.  But I said all that before.
