Hi,everyone!!! :D How's it going? ;) Now that summer has FINALLY arrived (OK,it arrived one month ago :P !),what are your plans for the HOTTEST season of the year?Are you going on vacations to any exotic islands,are you travelling overseas,somewhere in your own country or are you staying at home? :) I'd like to see MANY people reply,please!Come on,don't be shy to tell me!!! ;)  :D

Well, it's winter here, not summer... and I will be going to Cape Town for a week on holiday and then back to University.

Well, it's winter here, not summer... and I will be going to Cape Town for a week on holiday and then back to University.

Wow,cool!!! :D But,still,isn't it pretty hot in South Africa? :unsure:

My female associate and I took advantage of this $252 r/t flight deal to Colombia to arrange a trip in August.

Barranquilla (where the deal specifically worked) isn't the most touristy city, but a 2 hour drive away is Cartagena, which is, so that's where we'll end up.

 

Since the flights are operated by COPA, the national airline of Panama, we arranged a long layover in Panama City on the return trip.  Will definitiely be going to see the Panama Canal during that stop, and probably some other things too!

Not tropical no. It's more temperate. In the winter it goes to around -5 degrees celcius with day temperatures around 15 degrees and in the summer day temperatures go as high as 40 degrees in some places but the average would be around 35.

Ah,sounds like you pretty much have the ''same'' climate as we do in Greece.But,in Greece there's just TOO MUCH damn humidity,and when it's like 35 degrees Celsius,it feels like 80!!! And the winter temperatures,at least here in Thessaloniki,don't drop below -5 degrees Celsius,but,again with the humidity,it feels like -20!!! :blink:

No vacation for me but usually i go north rather than south, I dont mind the cold because you can always put layers on, when its hot, there is only so many layers to take off, soon enough, you are in your birthday suit hahaha
