Forest Fire is a 9-player Open Setup that won the Micro category in the 2015 Open Setup Design contest.

Setup

• 2 Arsonists
• 6 Tree
• 1 Firefighter

Notes

• Arsonists have a single factional night action. They may choose to prime a single target, or to ignite all previously primed targets.
• Firefighter blocks the priming of a target ONLY on the night in which they are being primed.
• Trees become Tree-stumps upon being lynched, allowing them to continue posting in the thread.
• Firefighter, Trees, Tree-stumps, and Arsonists are all vulnerable to being primed and ignited.
• Players are not told when they are primed, Arsonists are not told if the priming was successful.
• Tree-stumps cannot vote, and do not count as a vote for endgame purposes.

Alive:

Electric Mango, Arsonist

 Dead:

Road2Victory, Tree
Duderonomy, Tree
Lyner, Arsonist
iSocialism, Tree
Commander Shepard Firefighter
Duke Nukem Pretzimus the Great, Tree
Rafay, Tree
Robert2424, Tree

The Rules

• The game is comprised of Arsonists and the Forest (Trees and Firefighter).
• The game is won when only one faction remains in the game, or nothing can prevent the same.
• During the Day phase, each player may speak and vote inthread.
• If a player receives the majority of the available votes during the Day, they are lynched.
• At deadline, a player with half-majority will be lynched.
• You may vote No Lynch.
• After the Day, the game goes to Night.
• The game thread is closed during the Night. The Arsonists may speak to each other at Night. All Active Roles may submit actions via PM at Night.
• The Arsonists can, as a faction, prime or ignite at Night.
• After the Night, the game goes to Day.
• Basic rules for maintaining the integrity of the game thread are in effect (i.e. players may not quote their Role PMs, nor may they discuss the game outside the game thread unless otherwise permitted, etc.)
• Mass role-claiming is allowed. (Good luck with that!)

Game Days will last as many real-life days as there are players alive.
Game Nights will last 48 hours but will include at least one weekday.

Addendum to rules: "If a day reaches the deadline without a lynch, the player with the most votes over a half-majority will be lynched. In the event of a tie, the first player to the most votes will be lynched."

There's the innocent side that is me and the tree stumps, there is the arsonists, the inactives and the scums.

You're drinking too much tree sap. The scums and arsonists are the same.

Drinking too much sap?

Maybe my sap blood is spilling thanks to the last person who had the ax and chopped me off

With 8 alive, it takes 5 to lynch, or 3 at deadline.
Deadline is 12:00 EDT Saturday, October 17.

So if Robert and Commander Shepherd both responded to Kevin's PM where the forest are they? It would be nice to have their votes on record before the day is done.

True why haven't they spoken? They would need to show themselves before the deadline approaches. It's better to speak than get lynched right away

Pretzimus the Great replaces Duke Nukem.
Welcome to the game!

Welcome, Preztimus

Your predecessor hasn't spoken much

We'd love it if you could give us your opinion on the current situation

9 pages are a bit long tho

Oh shoot lol

Alright. I'm about to go on a 5 hour car ride so I should have time to read up on it. So I have until 12 est to vote?

Well that was an interesting read. Soo much to process. It seems that some are trying way too hard to prove that they aren't scum. I'll have to put some more thought before voting

Or you could choose not to vote

Or you could choose not to vote

So many choices!

Feel free to call upon anyone of us with questions, also if needed we can ask kevin for a day or two extension. For you to catch up, and have more time to analysis.

I'm alive. Just discovered SAO and couldn't stop watching till I watched every episode. (Still wondering why the full emersion isn't put together yet. Very possible.)

Anyways. I've skimmed this page and noticed dude and lyner are the people being voted for. I personally been getting a town vibe from both but a stronger vibe from dude. I'll have to read since I stopped reading the thread and see what I missed.

OK. Typically what I expected. Though what's up with em ? Makes me raise an eyebrow for sure.

So as it stands....I still get a better town vibe from dude then lyner but lyner always give me a scum vibe. Em dose give a scum vibe normally though also.

So I could support dude but be tied to em with his wierd comment. Go against my gut and go with lyner. Or do something random. Don't really have time for randomness and to make new discussion. So......

VOTE LYNER

Gotta go with my gut.

Hmmmm I wonder if Lyner has words to say before we know who he is...

Hmmmm I wonder if Lyner has words to say before we know who he is...

It is actually tied with 3 vs 3 votes, dude being the earliest to get to 3. Being he is to be lynched as a result of a tie

So now the truth can be revealed.

With 7 alive, it takes 4 to lynch, or 2 at deadline

Deadline is 17:00 EDT Monday, October 26.

Well. Dude wasn't arsonist. Looks bad for lyner.

Lyner then should be arsonist since he provoked it this seems bad for mafia 7 alive and 2 arsonists and 1 firefighter

Lets not be quick to vote. Today may be lynch or lose.

Pretzimus, youve had a long car ride and several days to read through everything. I am interested in hearing your thoughts up to this point.

I for one have always been the most suspicious of those that do not say much and play not to lose. Scum try to blend in with the crowd so I look for those that do not say or do anything that puts them in the lime light.

Two of the people that have been vocal have both been proven innocent by way of lynching and the rest have been out under the microscope while the people who have said or contributed little have gone by without nearly a vote.

Im looking at you Robert, Rafay and Pretzimus.

Also Commander Shepherd has been very quiet lately. The last Kevin told us is that he responded to a PM but has not posted anything since. Perhaps another prod is needed.
