now that's it's out for a couple of days now, and i'm assuming that at least a handful of people here are star wars fans...?

i think it looks pretty good, took me back to the day i first watched the original trilogy, everything looks right in place especially seeing the old stormtroopers again. i don't think a film each holiday season is too much star wars.

Posthumously saw action during the Doom House-NPO War. God Save Pentaria.

I hope that finally we'll have a good movie in a star wars universe...you know a solid movie you could honestly rate 7-8/10 and not some 4/10 junk with +4 fanboi bonus due to force, lightsabers, darthvaders and all that shit.

hey, this actually might be that film. no jedi, not a single lightsaber. they're touting this as something much more gritty and grounded, like the saving private ryan of star wars.

vader is being rumored to appear, at least as the shadowy big bad in the background.

Im surprised a trailer is out already. It feel like just last week the 1st one (7th for the true fans) was still in theatres, and not out on blueray. Disney really jumped on this and is running hard with it. Im glad to see.

I expected the next one to be a remake of The Empire Strikes Back, just with changing characters and more diversity... but this trailer actually looks a bit interestingly original, but with additional diversity. We actually have a section in our forums to discuss movies, just sayin'
