August 12, 201610 yr comment_874868 I assume if you are going to the UK, but still need to apply for ESTA with the United States, you're coming from somewhere else and just transiting America? Is that correct, or do I (as an American who doesn't need to worry about such things) not understand all the situtations in which someone would need to deal with ESTA? August 12, 201610 yr Author comment_874882 Northern Ireland, best place in the world via Miami, Philadelphia, and Dublin. Niels, affirm, transit. Or actually, staying overnight in Miami. Basically, ESTA just asks you questions and you print out a form for $14. People from specific countries don't need a visa to enter the USA, so thry have the ESTA instead. Report
