In late May I traveled from DC to Beijing, and then from Beijing to Taipei. I lived in the middle of Taipei, between getting there and leaving on August 11th (Thursday). I was studying Chinese at National Taiwan Normal University's Mandarin Training Center; I received a Scholarship through the Republic of China (Taiwan) Ministry of Education, too, so it was a good time.
