Well I'll start off saying this I'm new to the game and hoping I'm not the first one lynch out the game but with seven players we need to think carefully because we may vote out the wrong player.

So my vote is no lynch at this time.

We can't sit and wait for a cop which we only have a 50% chance of even having, therefore I suggest we play as though we don't have a cop until such time as one claims, if there indeed is one.

in that vein.....

So my vote is no lynch at this time.

Please make the votes obvious on a line by themselves. I'm not going to count this.

With 7 alive, it takes 4 to lynch or 2 at deadline.

Deadline is Thursday, September 15, at 17:00 EDT

Well.

There are always two scum in each setup. 3 of the four setups have a town PR.

Say we have 2 PRs. If we lynch one of them we're in a hole. Same if we have 1 PR.

We can't mislynch someone D2 regardless if we NL or mislynch D1. We need to hit scum D2 or lose. Lynching does hurt us if we have a PR and we lynch them, but I think lynching someone is better.

I see the game has started.  It's quite imperative we have active participants....no room for inactive players.  This is obviously going to be a quick game, it could be over by the end of D2 if we mislynch, thus D1 is a lot more important then in larger games.  There can't be fluff in D1, people need to start begin aggressive and pressuring people now if town wants to stand a chance.

What we do know is there 4 possible scenario's, and we know in all scenarios there is 5 town/2 scum.  That is the most important thing, the breakdown of numbers.  We don't know if there is PR's or not.

Here's the breakdown as I see it

1.  If we no lynch today, we can't mislynch tomorrow or game is over.

2.  If we choose to lynch today, we can mislynch and not be over.  It allows us two chances of lynching a scum before we lose.

So the way I look at it, we should be voting to lynch today, not to No Lynch.  Lynching today allows us the opportunity to have 2 shots at hitting a scum or we lose, if we don't lynch, we have 1 chance to lynch, and can't be wrong.  We are allowed a mislynch voting to lynch every day, we don't if we no lynch.  Also, the way I see it, if we mislynch today that means tomorrow there will be two less people to have to pick from...narrowing the options of whose scum, if we don't lynch there's 1 extra person we could possibly mislynch D2.  Plus, lynching today gives us at least something to look at come tomorrow on how people voted, who was on the wagon, who wasn't, etc.

So to me, anyone voting NO lynch today already is suspicious.  I much rather have the opportunity to at least get 2 stabs at hitting a scum then a single shot and can't be wrong.  Scum would love to go into D2 with only looking to have to survive a single lynch to win.

Welcome to the game, glad to see you deciding to play.  That being said, you're already on my radar.  You voting No lynch, which would mean we would have 1 shot at being right, is suspicious.  Lynching today, as I already said allows the opportunity to mislynch once and not be out, giving us 2 lynches to kill a scum.  I also don't get why you go no lynch instantly on your first post without anyone even discussing things.  Not sure if you have read past games and figured no lynch would look townish or what.

We can't sit and wait for a cop which we only have a 50% chance of even having, therefore I suggest we play as though we don't have a cop until such time as one claims, if there indeed is one.

I hope this is a lulz vote.  Though comical, D1 is not a lulz type day in a small game like this.

Which one of those four?

I'm pretty sure he's not going to make it known which of the 4 it is.  I think its the point, to have some unknowns.  We know it's 1 of the 4 scenario's, that's it, and the number of town/scum.

Well.

Agree that lynching is better.  A PR, be it a cop or doctor is not going to likely be able to stay hidden long if we have them in a smaller game like this.  With the lynch on D2 possibly being the make or break (lose) point of the game unless we lynch a scum D1, it's going to be tough for them to stay quiet much past D2.

One of the 4 setups was chosen at random. I will not reveal it; part of the game is to figure out which one was chosen.

Some more numbers I'm throwing out, correct me if I'm wrong:

Chances of hitting a PR if we NL D1 OR lynch scum D1:

Cop, Doc both in game: 40%

Doc, no cop in game: 20%

Cop, no doc in game: 20%

Chances of hitting a PR if we mislynch D1:

Cop, Doc in game: 50%

Doc, no cop in game: 25%

Cop, no doc in game: 25%

So, having scenario 1 in play and/or mislynching gives scum a higher chance to hit a PR UNLESS if Doc protects the NK, if we even have a Doc.

A no lynch was never on the cards because of how many players we have, I don't think all no lynch are suspicious. But still to early to read anyone

We need role claims to get started.

Let the cop role claims then if doc is present he can protect him

If the person who role claims as cop gets killed and turns out to be cop then doc is not there.

If cop role claims and no kills on N1 then a doc is present.

So all depends if someone have the guts to role claim as cop.

If it happens then we will get somewhere.

And people needs to stop fluffing about we cant afford to mislynch today.though we can it makes it tough especially if the mislynch is a PR.

So people get real.and start pressing someone.

We need to strike D1.

We need to have two shots at scum.

If are lucky scum may be gone.

Kevin, can doc self-protect?

We have a half-half chance of having one PR. We also have a 25% chance of having both the cop and doc or no PRs. On D1 we should play as if we have no PRs. Even if a cop walks out into the open, he's unconfirmed. It could easily be a scum fakeclaim than a real cop. If we have a cop, it'll come down to a guessing game and if the scum gets lynched we have a definite advantage. Of course, if we don't have a cop a scum fakeclaim would go unchallenged and would probably lead to a mislynch D2. If we have a doc he would protect the real cop indefinitely if scum gets lynched in my first scenario, but in the second scenario he would probably protect scum. So, be wary for an unchallenged PR RC.

I really don't see the benefits of massclaiming. There's no one person that really stands out, and it would be in random order...

I'd personally suggest cop not coming out because there's only a small chance a doc is backing you up if you get selected for the NK. Of course, the scum don't really need to care about this because they can't get NKed. I'm skeptical of any cop claim on D1 because it could be a real cop or a scum fakeclaim.

I personally dont think we should be making people RC, if there is no doc then we are walking straight into the arms of the scum and I don't think it even should be suggested, kinda scummy to me.

Agreed. As I stated, there's only a 25% chance of a doc if the cop RCs, the cop should stay hidden. FoS on MK.

I think you find that's what I said

Guys why i made that point was cause this is a really small game and we need to act fast.

And i made this as a suggestion and we may or may not follow it.Just one of.the few options.

And you don't have to get all over me that point.

Let the cop investigate someone tonight and if that person is scum reveal on D2.
