Get involved in tech deals. Go up to the top of your screen on the IRON forums to the tabs on the right. Click Buy/Sell tech. Once you've signed up for ITF, you will receive $6m cash, and you'll buy and send out 200 tech (which costs about $3m if you buy it correctly, look at the guides on tech dealing if you're not familiar with it) to pay for it, and keep the $3m that's left over. Rinse and repeat for all five of your aid slots. $3m profit for each tech deal done = $15m profit each cycle.

I just took a look at your nation. You should sign up for a trade circle: having trades with other nations, especially the right set of trades, will make you waaaay more money. P.S. If you'll follow the instructions to graduate the academy, you automatically get $6m aid. You can get up to $30m for graduating the academy if you also pass with merit and excellence.

What Kitkat16 said!  Between tech dealing and trade circle there is hardly any more basic beneficial steps you can take to advance your nation.  There are a lot, but few or none more basic.
