so...here's some of the stuff i've done with GIMP:



you probably have no idea what the above picture is. it's a map for another game i used to play. i originally got GIMP in order to do stuff like this.



the next step up! everything beforehand had been fairly simple, basically adding text to images or following a step-by-step guide. this is the first project were i didn't have a specific guide to follow and had to do image editing.



nothing really flashy about this one...but it was my first attempt to make something from nothing so to speak. my first true creative piece of art.



now we're making progress! this one is actually fairly recent. i made it for another game i sorta play but not much. that is actually my char in the sig.



now i'm getting better...took some sigs made by others for me and put them together.



the mil sig as promised. i even got a request for an Alpha one(which i may or may not have time to make today...)



i was asked to make a mentored by sig for some new mentors.



my first transparent piece and my first piece actually making use of masks.



an avy. my first gif. it also uses a lot of my previously knowledge.

i have a few more projects in mind... let me know what you think. if you have any requests...let me know.

I never really liked GIMP, was always a photoshop user myself, but nice, I would suggest looking into getting photoshop tho to expand your talents with a better program.

yeah used to use ps, now I use gimp, my sigs at the moment are the limit of my talent... how to you blend soo well, is it a blur tool?

depends. for my latest sig i used the smudge tool and smudged in and out. it gives the whispy effect to the edges. another trick you could do using the smudge tool is to make swirls to remove unwanted text. this is especially useful if the background isn't one colour around the text.

IRON briefly ran a TW outlet... but it only lasted a month or so. TW is a bit ****e tbh...

I prefer using masks in photoshop for blending. It's like a super quickie and easy.
GIMP has something similar I hope?

photoshop is a good thing to have, I couldnt really image myself using anything else. lol

Since it's free, I might try out GIMP; I need an image program. PS is way too expensive.

Yes, "don't" illegally download PS from the many websites available to you if you input the word torrent into google . Whatever you do, don't do that.
