Hey, have you guys ever considered starting an IRON alliance on the Tournament Edition of CN? I think if we had enough active members we could sweep the competition. Maybe just for fun or even for war experience for newer players? Just a thought....

This would be a more suitable general discussion forum topic 
I've never really looked into TE... Though doesn't it go in cycles? Like play for 2 months or so then reset? Also chances are most people who play from IRON already have predisposed alliances they join (or more likely Oculus has a few alliances where all members looking to join are invited). I'm not really sure, perhaps someone who plays TE would like to elaborate?

The differance between IRON and some rag tag alliance is the fact that we will fight with no reguard to our own nations. Putting the greater good of the whole before ourselves. Victory for all or they will have to fight us to the last point of infa in the last IRON nation. Every so often someone(s) will come around and exemplifie this. Living up to the IRON Values. It gives me great pleaser to baptize three of IRON's up and comers.

Yes it does cycle. I created an account there (identical to my current CN one) just for some extra experience. Because TE is specially designed for wars if I'm not mistaken. No peace mode. No foreign aid. Huge war chests and non stop wars until the end.

We did have a thing for a while where we used TE to train newbies in war, but I think it was a disorganized mess and eventually people just stopped using it.
I'm surprised there is any life at all left in TE. I used to have an alliance there. Good times, until all the decent alliances on Steve stopped showing up.

What alliance are you in?
I used to be regent of a mid sized AA called "New Atlantic Order". Though for a while we went by the name "Enclave" and boy did that theme make some perfect propaganda.

I actually played with Defcon 1 last year, but I went MIA because I became busy with rl. It's a pretty decent alliance.I just chose the largest one for the most protection since I'm new to wars. But it's called DEFCON 1.

IMO the gameplay in SE and TE are different as TE is much faster and you have to build a huge WC and develop your nation in your first few weeks. If you screw up then you are a goner. XD

IMO the gameplay in SE and TE are different as TE is much faster and you have to build a huge WC and develop your nation in your first few weeks.
I absolutely agree with this... I've only been playing TE a few days now but the major thing I can already tell is that TE takes the game more into a direction I like... Rather than things moving in the span of weeks and months (SE), TE moves along in a matter of days. I've found myself much more frequently checking my TE account than I normally do my SE account (though with the forum problems it's about same now 
)
