Really they named their mascot "Serious" and are now kicking it all around the DNC office in frustration because they spent 30 million dollars to win one seat... and lost again.

 

Yes my friends... Pajama Boy... I mean Jon Ossoff, lost to Sharron Angle... I mean Karen Handel, in Georgia's 6th District tonight.

 

I say Pajama Boy because he looks just like him. Just google Pajama Boy if you don't know who he was. I say Sharron Angle because she did something hard to imagine. She lost to Harry Reid in 2010. How could you lose to Harry Reid? My god... to find a worse candidate than Sharron Angle we would have had to run someone like Donald Trump! Oh sorry, I forgot... they lost to him too.

 

Karen Handel was a really bad candidate, as was Sharron Angle. I watched Karen Handel speak, and I felt like I was on a novocaine drip to my face. Handel beat Ossoff by 6 points when all the polls said Ossoff was gonna roll her. When does everyone realize that the entire poll system is bullshit? The polls are created in an attempt to influence elections... not accurately predict the outcome.

 

To top it off Democrats also lost in South Carolina as well. Now the question has to be asked by the Democrats if their chosen leadership is effective, and if their chosen strategy of just hating Trump, and everyone that voted for him, can move the needle at all? Maybe they can blame it on the Russians?

Republicans keep acquiring more and more political territory.

 

Perhaps its time for the Democrat Party to stop blaming Trump, Republicans, Conservatives, Russians, Christians, Caucasians for everything wrong in this world, and start blaming themselves for these recent election loses. When will they finally get it that all this negative/violent rhetoric and adherence to bad policies is what is causing Moderates to vote Republican.

 

The very one thing Democrats should be doing to win is aligning their party more towards moderate stances, that is how they will get more votes. Instead they keep going farther and father left, and by doing so I predict they will lose even more Congressional seats in the 2018 election. And possibly the 2020 Presidential Election.

Starting today, the Sanders-Warner wing of the Democrats will turn on Ossoff with the same vile hatred they deal out to Republicans every day. The sound of the descent will be a deafening crescendo, and like a chorus trying to get the harmonies in tune, they will finally come together in an awful rendition of "We Told You So!"

 

Jon Ossoff is a Democrat that tried to win a seat in Congress for the 6th District of the great state of Georgia. They poured millions of dollars into his campaign... actually more than any campaign for a seat in Congress... ever. He is a Democrat, but he ran on the platform, and the issues, of a moderate Republican. This is why they will say he lost the election. He didn't run as a Progressive.

 

But this was not the reason Jon Ossoff didn't win. To win an election in the 6th District of Georgia, it would help if Jon Ossoff didn't wake up the morning after the jungle primary, and discover that he doesn't even live in the 6th District of Georgia.

 

They will blame little Pajama Boy Jon, for not running on a Progressive platform... and they learned nothing from the loss.

The odds 538 gave Trump were still better than the 98% on Huffington post and others in in the 90's at least.]

 

I just dont get why they spent 30 million on ONE seat. in the 6th district of Georgia!  The CONSERVATIVE South!!!  Sure if they win it is in Georgia, but its ONE SEAT!  Are they gonna spend 30 mil on every seat they want to try to flip?  Go ahead!  It will bankrupt the party!  And youre exactly right, the progressive/socialist far left will blame it on that.  Or maybe Russia. Or anything other than the real reason they lost

The Democrats are trying to duplicate the magic formula of the Tea Party of 2009. When that happened they lost the House, the Senate, and pretty much everything else since. The only spark of victory has been defending the ACA at the SCOTUS, and Obama winning his second term. The problem is... it's all fairy dust... it's not real. They are attempting to undermine the Trump victory by creating the illusion that everything is wrong, everyone is angry, and everybody wants to change course. It's fantasy.

 

The Democrats are desperate for a Scott Brown style victory... so they can point at it and say "See?... even Conservatives don't want this!" Scott Brown famously won the Senate seat of Ted Kennedy when he... uh, expired. Scott Brown is a Republican, and the Senate seat was in true blue Massachusetts. So it was a very effective win. Without a Democrat victory in a blood red state, this fantasy for Democrats can never resemble an authentic movement.

 

But there is one important ingredient missing in the magic formula... and that is Trump doing something that the people didn't actually vote for. When Barack Obama won in 2008, he didn't win because everyone wanted him to destroy the healthcare industry... he won because Wall Street banks went belly up, lost billions, and crashed the entire US economy. Everyone blamed Republicans and Obama beat John McCain soundly. Totally expected... but they didn't vote for Obama for the ACA... and ever since Democrats have lost, and keep losing. Things will not change for them until they change back what they did.

The democrats failure is mainly due to 

creating the illusion that everything is wrong, everyone is angry, and everybody wants to change course

. They tell people to be this way, and people just aren't buying it anymore. I'm happy with life, happy with my country, and happy with the way the economy is turning. Most people I know are like this. The only "anger" they have is created by these illusions, or very rare instances where it is warranted. But in those warranted events, they seem to take it took far and create more problems than had previously existed. (I.E rioting, looting, etc.)

Polling companies are paid by media outlets, and it's a bonus to deliver the results the people that pay you want to see. There comes a time when they have to correct themselves before the election, so they don't look like complete morons. They had Ossoff winning by as much as 7% before they began to correct, and tighten, their fudged numbers as election day approached. They all lied... because they are Trump haters, being paid by Trump haters. Nothing new... just more obvious these days, and they have been so humiliated they don't care anymore.

Yes republicans won, just don't see the need for a round of celebrations, same way I was annoyed 20-ish years ago when the far right didn't take a town with +50% of votes. Never understood why we should celebrate them comming ludricous close to winning in a supposed unwinnable place.

 

It is a ludricous amount of $$ on either side, even more so knowing over half came from out-state (let alone out-district) sources, many unnamed or unchecked. But that is a general thing in US (and many other places).

 

Well, it is true that some polls are more biased or skewed one way or another, perhaps consider sifting out the overzealous ones instead of just looking at just your sides overzealous ones >_>. Unsure where you got those 7% from, perhaps polls made to motivate the republican voters from actually going, which seems needed as Republicans before had close calls before on non-POTUS election years.

 

And stop calling it hate, stop trying to put everyone (regardless of subject of affiliation) on extreme points of the spectrum. There was bound to be more then just a "Y/N to Trump" vote going on, unless you folks are so partisan you just use ideology viewpoints instead of relevant and district specific viewpoints.
