Being that yesterday also ended with a vote and a mod kill was still done, I assume another mod kill will happen. Well, we asked today didn't end early. Let's cross our fingers and hope for the best

 

Whoever the scum is, is active enough to have killed Rhizo last night. It's not an inactive, or at least I doubt it.

 

Just saying guys, do you really think if I was the scum I'd have killed off Rhizo of all people? (Not that it matters now that I'm past four lynch votes.)

Since both KC & Rafay are back,
I have made a modification since I have no intention of ending 2 consecutive days with mod kills.

from now, if someone is at L-1 and there are still people yet to post above the min. Count, then all further votes on such players, such it ends the day early, will be invalid on that player.
Basically, hammer votes happen only when all players are above 4 posts on that day.

So Rafay's vote is invalid and null.
and since his post consists only of the vote, that post will not be counted.

Don't get me wrong here.. I don't want to lynch Kitkat if he is indeed town but the change in rule here basically just exonerated Kitkat (assuming he was telling the truth after his supposed death) and gave the town an unfair advantage in my moderation opinion.

 

Kitkat should still be killed since he reached the 4 vote majority. If you don't want to mod-kill anyone for the day, just don't mod-kill them. A moderator should not make such a dramatic and potentially game changing rule change after a day has already technically ended and information like we just saw has been given..

 

On the other hand, if you are officially lynched and the game thread remains open, you should NOT be discussing things like that.

The problem is I don't want to kill 2 Players by mod Kills.
The game is basically bullshit if one does this.

Rafay didn't ask before hammering, whereas Rhizo did.
I pinged Rafay to post , not to end the day.

And the rule is not retro, so I will go with Tw's thoughts and end the day.

I'm a bit busy this week, and we can afford another night if a no lynch happened. Also better odds of finding scum with only 3 players.

 

And can you waive the minimum post rule for today, MK? Seems like TW is gone

 

 

 

If anyone have convincing idea we can go for the kill today though. Honestly I forgot most of what have happened because of the server issue taking too long, and haven't got time to re read the thread. I'm pretty sure we can get something from the final votes tally from each night though.

Remaining players.
Lyner makes a decent point, but not sure it is one I'm willing to jump on just yet.
We have 4 players. We have a 25% to hit a scum now, but we have a 75% chance to mislynch.
If we hit scum, great. We win as there is only 1 left anyhow.
If we hit town, we lose. As we'd mislynch bringing us to 1scum v 2 town. The night kill would bring us to 1scum v 1 town; and game over. 

Inactivity is definitely plaguing us as well.

The alternative is a no lynch, allowing someone to die at night and bringing us to 1 scum 2 town. 33% to hit a scum. For a 8% increase in the odds to hit a scum, we'd still be on the challenging side to win. Scum has the favor here, but I think we need to discuss more whether a no-lynch or trying to go for it today would benefit more. With some inactivity, we may not even get a lynch tomorrow depending on who gets killed.
