This thread isn't about a Rolling Stones song.

 

It's the freshly revealed FBI "codename" for the secret investigation into the Trump campaign. News has come down that the long awaited Inspector General report on how the Clinton email investigation was handled is now completed, and is expected to be released. Nervous "officials"... codename for "anonymous sources"... have run to none other than the favorite rag for the Progressive agenda, famously called "The New York Times", to try to get ahead of it, and get their side of the story out first.

Now, I don't know what to expect from this Inspector General. Could be good for Trump, or the FBI. Could be good for Clinton... or it could be bad for the FBI, Clinton, Obama, and his entire criminal organization. We shall see.

 

I started this thread because I'm pretty tired of not having a proper place to discuss it, and it keeps coming up in other discussions. Also, after so much time, this should be coming close to the end, and this is a good launching point to begin to end it. By no means do I expect it to be wrapped up in days or weeks... but maybe months. I'll still be here... win, lose, or draw.

 

I welcome, and appreciate, all who wish to air their thoughts. After all... it's only politics.

Okay, I've been cruising over the different coverage on this new leak, and there are really no surprises. CNN is largely ignoring it, choosing to press Michael Cohen and porn stars... MSNBC is siding with the leakers and positioning themselves to support the NYT version of events... and FOX obviously is talking about the entire story, with strong focus on the fact that the FBI is coming clean that they were spying on the Trump campaign. They call it "eavesdropping"... another word for spying on the opposition party.

 

This is an attempt to inoculate the FBI from the charge that they handled the Clinton investigation different than the Trump investigation. It keeps coming up that if the FBI was working to elect Hillary Clinton... why would Comey reopen the Hillary investigation 10 days prior to election day, sending Congress a memo that they found all of Huma's computer on Anthony Weiner's computer? They want us to believe this is proof that they were not in the tank for Hillary.

 

What they fail to say is Comey promised Congress, under oath, that he would inform Congress if they find anything new he has not told them about. The FBI held secret the contents of Anthony Weiner's computer for an entire month, intending on never telling anyone about it. But guess what happened? Anthony Weiner's computer was seized by the New York Police Department for sex crimes with underaged girls... and the NYPD was not cooperating with the FBI. The NYPD was about to tell the press what was on Weiner's computer… and Comey would be in huge trouble with Congress. So he was forced to fess up, or face contempt.

 

Nothing has been said about the famous tarmac meeting between Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton. Does anyone still believe Bill Clinton went out of his way to meet Loretta Lynch on her plane, at an Arizona airport, to talk about golf and grandchildren? Right up there with 30,000 deleted emails and several destroyed hard drives about yoga and her mom's funeral. None of this passes a smell test.

 

In Hillary Clinton's investigation, there were real crimes committed, and everyone was given immunity and no one charged with anything. In Trump's investigation there has been no crimes committed, and a two year long search for someone to charge with something. I was listening to a Radio host who summed up the situation, "If the majority of it turns out to be true, this makes Nixon's Watergate look like a traffic infraction. Why isn't anyone in Federal Prison for this, and why does half the American public not seem to care?"

Regardless if it is determined that all of this is true, their was a massive cover up by multiple federal agencies and elected/appointed officials.

I can certainly follow the issues surrounding an private mail server used by an active Secretary of State, but I also find the humour in that such acts are still ungoing and nobody seems to care anymore (hello Kushner?).

 

And while alot of people from various fields (and backgrounds) have had their poke at Hillary, not much ado has been had about it. You could almost make the claim that atleast she got investigated and looked at while under a same-party president, something severly lacking the current folks (did enjoy the Senate Intel Com scuttling the "non-burger" the House GOP Intel Com came out with )

Okay, I've stopped laughing long enough to reply.

 

Susan Rice, who was promoted to Advisor to President Obama after she was caught lying on 5 cable news shows about Benghazi in order to place her under his protection against that investigation, wrote an official email to herself the day of Trump's inauguration, just before turning her office over to the new administration. She wrote this letter to herself in her official capacity because she knew it would go on the record. In this letter to herself, she talks about a meeting on January 5th 2017... 15 days before Trump takes office... with Obama, Joe Biden, Comey, Sally Yates, and herself. In this letter to herself she recounts how Obama stressed that the Trump investigation be done "by the book". This is obviously an effort to claim that everything they did wrong, was legal.

The Obama Administration is up to their eyeballs in this. Obama lied about Hillary's private server. He claimed to learn about it from news reports, when there are emails to and from him and Hillary on the private server. Susan Rice and her obvious involvement, Jim Clapper and the NSA, still lying to this day. John Brenner and the CIA, still lying to this day. John Kerry and Samantha Power... the State Department, lying about unmasking American Citizens and leaking them to the press. Loretta Lynch and the DOJ, treating the Clinton investigation as a "matter" and coordinating with the Clinton campaign. James Comey and his tiny squad conducting a secret investigation on the President-elect, based on false accusations created by a Trump hating British spy on information supplied to him by Russians, and paid for by Hillary Clinton and the DNC. You can't make this stuff up. Obama is the orchestrator of this entire ordeal.

The Senate Intel Committee just agreed that the Russians tried to interfere in our election. No one disagrees with that. The Russians have always been interfering in our elections. They are just using social media now... just like everybody else. How does that "scuttle" everything Obama officials did leading up to the election, and continuing after Hillary lost it?

Richard Nixon was afraid of running against Edmund Muskie... he wanted to run against George McGovern. He wanted so bad to know what was happening, that he had some thugs break into DNC headquarters at the Watergate Hotel, and then tried to cover it up. He ended up resigning. Yeah... that's a traffic infraction compared to what has been done to Donald Trump.

OMG! This just blows the whole thing wide open. After reading this it all comes so clear.

 

There has been much criticism of Comey for his public announcements regarding Hillary Clinton before election day. The first was intended to end her investigation and clear her to be President... the second time was to cover Comey's ass to Congress over Weinergate. Why did he not come out and tell everyone that Trump was under investigation for Russian collusion? This explains why.

 

The Clinton investigation was a "Criminal Investigation". This means there was a crime, clear evidence of a crime, and people to investigate. There was no way the FBI would get away with not concluding it before the election... and no crime in talking to the public about it. Much different than what happened to Donald Trump.

 

The Trump investigation was not a "Criminal Investigation".... the Trump investigation was a "Counter-Intelligence Investigation". There was no crime, no evidence of a crime... just people to spy on to find out if there is something nefarious going on. It would have been highly illegal, and a criminal act on the part of the FBI, to have gone public with this created investigation. It's all here...

And we are doing another Hillary investigation aren't we? I'd say go for it, it is a corner stone of our western society to do so, just don't cry wolf when it comes up empty for the umptienth time. As for "spying" on Trump campaign, perhaps he shouldn't have gotten so many unsavory and plausibly foreign compromised types of people in his team? The FBI went into the team cause they were following Manafort/etc., not the other way around.

 

Trump has run his entire life as a business tycoon, the very nature of his phonebook is different then from a politician. As such it is entirly posible to have contacts normally "fine" (moral line here) for business but obvious "lawbreaking" (foreign ties) for a politician.

Excellent, let them fall just as they are falling around Trump (heck just some days ago Giuliani came on Fox stating "We could. We would have. Just trust us we didn't" about possible Russian interference during the campaign). Get both out of your system if it makes you feel better. Yeah... unfortunately in America you cant use a government agency to spy on the campaign of a political rival...  Richard Nixon can attest to what happens when you pull crap like this.  If it ends up being true, which I am sure it is, people better go to jail over this.  Then again, somehow Hillary never got charged so I do not have much faith that the criminals of the left will ever see justice.

 

If this was Trump's FBI that did this the MSM would be screaming for his impeachment and prosecution, but because it is there precious Barack, that will never happen

The MSM didn't dig this guy up in an amazing demonstration of great journalism... it was leaked by someone to either get it out to the public first before the report is released in order to soften the blow, or to ensure they can't continue to lie, deny, and redact the information from the report. It's a little crazy to think this guy has been totally unknown, he's been doing this since 1980, and suddenly they throw him under the bus when it comes to Donald Trump? Nope... I don't believe that... someone really powerful is scared to death.

This speaks volumes. This is Mark Penn. He was an advisor to President Bill Clinton for his last 5 years in office. That's the same as Susan Rice to Obama, or John Podesta to Hillary Clinton... so it's obvious he's not a Republican or in the tank for Donald Trump.

Again, the CIA/FBI followed suspects INTO the campaign, they didn't follow the campaign. You going to complain to a jury that a copcar passing your house on patrol means they broke into your bedroom?

 

Heck, if they truely were spying and slipping the good stuff to the Dem campaign, it sure didn't make its way into the public. Sounds like a very shoddy job thus.

Towards that person? Yes. To the best of our knowledge he followed orders, orders he has had received several times before. At best he would be an accessory to the crime no?

And as for your link, just 1 year isn't alot to go by. Coupled with the general public still being in the dark but judges allowing Mueller subpoena's to further his investigation, stuff is obvious being found.

Also it seems I need to re-iterate this, I do not (nor have) believe Trump is "in cahoots" with any feoreign or otherwise illegal entity surrounding the elections.

 

What I do believe has happended is that his way of dealing has led to unsavory/unethical/unlawfull things to happen. Basically ii comes down to his method of running his business (and also campaign and now the WH), his method means that he himself just runs with the best ideas coming from his staff (or rather the most boisterous ideas, but thats another matter) and as such will "award" the staff with the idea with acknoledgement/power/...

 

As such their is a constant competition for his grace (kinda like The Appretince, and you folks know how ugly that could get) wihich is (to me) not a good method of running a business, let alone a society or a nation as a whole! With such competition comes people trying all kinds of underhanded tactics, tactics which may evolve into unethical and even unlawfull acts, all to garner his grace.

 

What I believe has happended is that some of his staff may have crossed the line into unlawfull territory and Mueller is here to sort that out. Await his findings, let justice flow its course and I don't care if you want to do X other investigations, have the decency to let this one go aswell.

Hillary Clinton wants to keep blaming James Comey for her election loss, and the entire Obama Administration is in hot water right now because she decided to operate an illegal private server.

 

They rigged their primaries for her to win the nomination over Bernie Sanders. They rigged an investigation into her crimes that never should have happened. Publicly cleared her of those crimes... any of which would have sent any of us regular people to prison for years. They had to open it again because Huma's husband liked to expose himself online to little girls... and had to clear her of those same crimes all over again during the last days before the election.

 

During all this time, they were using all government power to spy on the Trump campaign to create a case of "collusion" to kill his campaign if they needed to. When it appeared that Hillary would win easily, they held their breath and let it ride. When she lost everyone panicked, and threw everything at framing Trump before he took office. They have been doing this for 2 years now... all running scared, and making as much noise as they can, to keep framing Trump and cover up the real crimes... and it all started when Hillary decided to use an illegal private server, so no one would ever see what she was doing as Secretary of State.

 

Goes back to what my Mother taught me as a child... If you tell one lie, you will have to continue to tell more lies to cover the first one.

Trump elections has a myriad of reasons and underlying causes, some are likely very good and sound reasons which I could get behind even. Trumps governing is another matter all together thou...
