MVP(Mod’s Choice)= Master Samus; I think Master Samus played amazingly for a guy who claims it was his second only mafia game. He never led the town on him and that’s why he deserves this award. He was impressive in manipulating the town that led to the ultimate mafia victory.
Player of Mafia; Master Samus/emudevelopment (shared); I think both were instrumental in the town’s defeat. Both were manipulative and deceptive. They clearly came out as pro-town and looked like de-facto town leaders. They led the lynch wagon w/o anyone uncovering their true motives.
Samus, you should be proud that you've helped make an environment where people feel safe enough to share their experiences.

Bunch of losers. Tone down the egos and let the cops sort it out.
On the other side of this, you gotta be an absolute moron to repeatedly threaten "I'm going to kill you" to a guy holding a pistol with his finger on the trigger (big no no, you keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire), and then say "I'm going to kill you too" to the guy holding a shotgun.
CNN reports the father and son are both looking at a First Degree Murder Charge.

The lesson learned here is if you are gonna gun down your neighbor, dress for the occasion. Something tells me there is more to this story than we are told. A dumpster encounter with a matress does not rise to the level of shotguns and video tape. This is Texas, and I do believe verbally, and openly, threatening their life may be grounds for self defense... but as DM has pointed out, declaring you're intent to kill the guys holding the guns, was a really big mistake. The law will decide what is done, and we're never gonna hear about this again.

I'm unfamiliar with Texas self defense laws, but I do know they are rather lenient when compared to other States. The biggest task for the Father and Son is to convince the jury it was necessary to allow this situation to escalate the way it did, casually swing/move my firearm around with my finger on the trigger, and shoot an unarmed man (CNN reported the neighbor had nothing in his hands the moment he ws shot). All while demonstrating it was a justifiable homicide. The odds of a Jury agreeing with any of these things being okay in the eyes of the law is pretty slim.
Another thing that will be brought up in Court is where did this happen? Were they on their property when the shooting happened? The neighbors? The publically owned roadway? Because if it wasn't the Father and Sons property, they had the option to walk away many times. Stand your ground laws only cover so much before its blatantly obvious that while you may not have been the initial aggressor, you had so many chances to stop the situation from getting to the point where a firearm is discharged.
The idea of war is not to die for your country, it's to make the enemy die for his.

For me, firearms are like tools. Like hammer or drill. Cant be bad or good or blamed for what the owner does with it.
They maybe had to info police much earlier ab that argument.
Or at least, that guy in orange shirt shd have had retreat and call police.
