Its the fact that iSoc, TW and Kev are still alive after D1.

 

I mean they are all high posters and analyze the game to simplify the concept and hunt scum. So why would scum not choose any of them? I mean I'd go straight for Kev or TW on D1.

So by that logic none of us should even bother playing the game because at least one of us is guaranteed to die on night 1 everytime. You’re making it far simpler than it is. If you are assuming that Kevin, iSoc, or myself should be the mafia’s target on night 1 because of our experience, don’t you also think that our town power roles would think that could be the case and that we would draw the attention of a watcher which could catch scum in the act or a doctor which could prevent the kill altogether, etc? If we should be guaranteed mafia targets on night 1 then we should also be guaranteed beneficiaries of town power roles who can actually do something on night 1.

Someone that is scum as often as you are knows that you have to factor potential town power roles into your decision making.

Pretty sure he mentioned that he'd reveal after the game ends.  We likely wont know this whole game, so not really much to go on in terms of Rafay surviving or not surviving.

I would agree that I'm surprised of who was taken out, but nonetheless maybe scum got a vibe off one of them.  When I played scum I usually looked to hit the more active and the more experienced players given that no roles aren't known at that point.  But certainly my way isn't always the right way. 

 

I am surprised a bit knowing that you were up for trial by combat there was no reveal from you in terms of RC to save yourself.  It obviously wasn't known if you'd survive or not the Trial by Combat, but nonetheless the risk was still there.  Not saying it's a good or bad play...in hindsight since you survived it worked out, but could of turned bad if you were a town with a role and was killed.

Yea, planned to post 2 days ago but the forums were down which I was the one to inform Samus on.  Then yesterday got stuck late at work so didn't have time.

 

In terms of the results, we  have 2 dead.  Obviously we can count one of the kills as a Scum kill.  The other one I see it being 1 of 3 ways.  Either we have a SK (possible given the roles), an inexperienced town player who jumped the gun on their Vig ability or there was some modifier they were forced to, or we have a vig scum ability that was allowed N1.  

 

I think there's arguments against all 3.  A SK killing N1 basically alluding that there's an SK is IMO a bad play, a town vig using their ability N1 with nothing to go on doesn't make sense, and usually when I've played scum and we've had a Vig killing ability, it's not allowed to be used this early in game.   

 

I am not sure which one it is, and obviously the only way we'll know is if it was a town Vig and they claim it was them.  Otherwise not like scum is going to announce it, nor a SK.  Given there was 2 kills, I think we all should at least assume a SK is very possible.

We have been down this road before. When TW first started playing he was n1 killed all the time. It wasn't until a game in which I was mafia that I decided that not killing him would make people suspicious of him. I, and kitkat used that premises to let town eat themselves alive. Since then TW hasn't been scum because he wasn't killed n1

Yeah I'm sorry, I've been busy with school and all that fun stuff, and like I said earlier, this isn't exactly #1 priority. I will say, like somebody said earlier, the fact that those two people died on day one, and not the more experienced players, shows either a rookie mistake, or a complicated ploy on the part of an experienced mafia, is the more likely choices. So I'd look at the more experienced and newer players.

Seriously, I’m wondering about the experienced silent players. Shouldn’t they be posting? Also, why is Rafay this active? I’m not prepared to vote for Rafay, but I’m wondering about his style change. In past games I played with him he was always hiding anD some people always pointed at him as potential scum because of this and inevitably someone would defend him, saying that is just how he plays. Now he’s out there in the spotlight, posting his little heart out, pointing fingers.

People wanted me to be more active so I'm taking action. Now its a bad thing cuz I'm grilling the scum.

By using the logic that I didn't kill myself cuz I'm scum and I'm also a good player so then why the scum let me live is simple. Its easier to band people together against me during the days. I'm mostly voted out by the sheer incompetence of people saying that I don't talk or post a lot and now I'm posting matter, people are getting rubbed the wrong way. I mean scum not people.

 

I didn't roleclaim cuz I knew you can't kill off the GOAT that early in the series..... jk. Though I missed the deadline and I would have. But now I'm gonna have to cuz I'm in danger again.....

So far i only see votes on Rafay and Isocialism.

Given we would need wagons the best I can offer is to hit people already on the wagons/voting for the wagons to not overextend ourselves vote wise and create 2 separate sides to analyze voting patterns.

I think Rafay gets voted every game so it can be passed off as "oh its Rafay." And the wolfpacks/isocialism I believe isnt too concrete but we have to go off something.

I don't have much to say, but I will say that when we (or was it just me?) called out Rafay for being more active than he normally is, by the accounts of the other players, he turned out to be innocent. SM is acting basically the same as she was during the other game I've played and she wasn't scum there, and yes, I'm using other games to go off of, because we have nothing else really to go off of yet. Rhizo, I just have a suspicion it isn't him, seeing as he replaced Samus last minute, and if samus got scum role, I dont think he'd just give it up, unless he actually had to because of something irl or such. (If anyone has a post from him or something about why he needed to be replaced, I wish to see it). Other than that, I have nothing else to share my thoughts on.
