MECHANICS

• Role reveals at death are alignment only. You will not learn a player's exact role when they die.
• Usage of night actions is optional, but unused actions will be lost.
• Town wins when all threats to Town have been eliminated.
• Mafia factions win when they achieve Parity and all other evil factions have been eliminated at any time.
• Votes are automatically locked in at LYLO.
• No Lynching is enabled. Vote for No Lynch to forgo a lynch that Day.
• Mafia factional kills are optional. Mafia may submit a factional kill each night, but are not required to. However, starting night 5, the factional kill will be mandatory.
• Mafia factional kills are assigned. They can be tracked, watched, or roleblocked.
• Mafia share a factional Night Kill, which is a single standard shot for their faction.
• Mafia members may perform the faction kill in addition to their regular action at the same time.
• Mafia may communicate at any time.
• Tied votes will result in a player being lynched at random from among the tied players. Ties can't occur.

Regarding "ninja", it just means the player may choose to be invisible, not do a ninja-kill.
If you are town and got "strongman" it's worthless.

No point in lynching brewers D1, he contributes a bunch and we have two vigs (hopefully at least one is town if I understand the rules right) so plenty of chances to get rid of him later in the game if we find out that he's scum.

 

17 players and only 4 scum is pretty good odds for town though. We should definitely be lynching somebody today - if someone acts weird that's great, but but this is a good time to start taking out people that are rarely helpful to town and/or are easy for scum to frame too.

Or we could do this.

It means that in Lynch Or Lose situations (endgame), once you vote for someone, you can't change it again.

Probably to help counter inactivity or in the case of the mafia championship, more varied timezones (they are more distributed across the world, while we are more in US) among scum.

So let's say we are at 5, 3 town and 2 scum.
Basically Lylo.
It takes 3 to lynch.
So if say, townie 1 votes for Townie 2.
The scum can immediately jump on that wagon
Now scum usually coordinate this.
But say scum 1 is in Uk and the other is in say, Australia.
So timezones makes it more harder to coordinate.

So scum 1 can jump on the wagon on townie 2, which already got 1 vote, courtesy of Townie 1.
Townie 1 can't take his vote off Townie 2.
Scum 2 can come online whenever he does and then hammer the wagon on Townie 2.

Basically makes the endgame more intense.
And deters trigger happy voters
