January 26, 20215 yr comment_1027890 Hey everyone! Before going inactive in 2019, I had started a fun little game event with our alliance called the IRON Olympics. I am bringing it back since I know that I will be more active now as my life has gotten back on track. Here is how the IRON OLYMPICS work: This event will use https://namepicker.net/ to randomly select fictional citizen athletes as winners of different events. The event will start on February 6 and end February 10. The IRON Olympics will take place every two months. So the next one will be in April. The first host of the Olympics will be my nation, Rekadan Empire. The next host will be the winner of the most medals (events) for this rendition of the Olympics. The purpose of all of this: This is all for fun and friendly competition. It also adds lore to our nations and gives names to some of our citizens adding a more realistic feel to the game. Each nation that signs up will automatically be given 1 name (athlete) entry per event. Additional entries for each event will be given for:Having 20,000 or more working citizens (+1 entry)Having at least 1 School (+1 entry)Having at least 1 University (+1 entry)Having at least 1 Stadium (+1 entry)In the next Olympics you will ALSO be given additional entries for specific events for the following:If your athlete / nation earned a gold medal for an event in the last Olympics (+3 entries for that event)If your athlete / nation earned a silver medal for an event in the last Olympics (+2 entries for that event)If your athlete / nation earned a bronze medal for an event in the last Olympics (+1 entries for that event) The schedule of events are listed below. If this goes well, I will add more events next time. IRON OLYMPICS I - REKADAN EMPIRE Schedule of Events February 6 Track & Field - Men's 100 Meter Dash Track & Field - Women's Long Jump Swimming - Men's 100 Meter Freestyle Swimming - Women's 100 Meter Butterfly Soccer February 7 Track & Field - Men's Long Jump Track & Field - Women's 100 Meter Dash Swimming - Men's 100 Meter Butterfly Swimming - Women's 100 Meter Freestyle Men's Tennis February 8 Women's Tennis Wrestling Women's Volleyball February 9 Men's Tennis Men's Volleyball Women's Archery February 10 Men's Archery American Football Baseball SIGN UP BELOW When filling out your athlete names, get into it! How does your citizens normally name their kids? What are common or uncommon surnames in your nation? Be creative! This is all for fun and the LORE! Starting now and ending on February 5, members of IRON may sign their nation up for the Olympics. Nations within IRON may sign up by February 5. Please copy & paste the following below and fill it out as a reply to sign up: Nation: Ruler: Nation Link: Working Ciztizen Population: Does your nation have?
