Agreed! My position can be summed up like this:

1. I'm an avid meat eater and would never consider becoming vegetarian or even reducing my meat consumption by much
2. I am aware of the huge impact of the meat industry on both the environment and general antibiotic resistance
3. I would immediately, 100% switch to cultivated (cell-grown) meat if they could accurately replicate the products I'm eating. For a fraction of my consumption, I would settle for slightly inferior products as well

I adore meat... would eat it every day. My partner is a vegetarian, so we mostly eat meat at home. Makes the food bill cheaper. Also means when we go out I'm definitely getting the biggest pile of meat I can find.
