I'm writing a creative writing piece for college, for effect I would like to change into italics when I change into past tense and then have the letters gradually straighten out as the story catches up with the present. Does anyone have any ideas how this could be achieved ether with italics or any other method?

You can rotate fonts I believe. Lemme play with it a bit.
