I see alot of interesting names of IRON members and often wonder the story behind the name. Tell us how you came up with your Rulers name.

 

I came up with my ruler's name like this . My real name is Mike and the 1587 was my employee ID number years ago when I worked in a local steelmill hence MIKE1587.

When I created my nation I was looking for a medieval princess like name. I did a search on the internet and found the movie Ladyhawke. I remember seeing this movie when I was a little girl and liked it. The movie Ladyhawke was a chick flick back in the '80s. The music in the movie is rather outdated, but it was a great movie.

 

Ok, the music is really lame. It was cool back in the '80s. Here is the trailer. I cried at the end of the movie. It was awesome!

General because I'm the general of my country. Nicholev because I Russian-ized my last name.

Davian Thule was obtained several years ago from a tabletop game called Warhammer 40,000 and a faction called the Space Marines and the specific Chapter of the Blood Ravens.

 

Marneus Calgar however was obtained from the same game, same race of people (Space Marines) but from the Ultramarines Chapter. Marneus Calgar is the Lord of Macragge and one of the Space Marine's finest leaders and warriors. I felt it suited me better than Davian Thule.

welder572 came from my nephew who set up my first ever e-mail account. I was a welder (can't see good enough to weld anymore) and the Local Union I work out of is #572.

I am the friend that sits back and listens to friends debate and when it ends I simply say to the one who didn't reply "WOW, you're just gonna sit back and take that?" and then they go back at it for a while and I rinse and repeat.
