  2. Well, it looks like there's some new things there since last time I visited
  3. Calm down, Yates, and let's talk this through I can't speak for the voices of the previous Doctors, as even though I'm a continuation of them, we do not have the same thought processes. I can only guess d3mon thought you were a likely target to be hit that night, was unaware of your passive abilities, and wanted to protect you. The neighborizing part is tied to the much more important ability to save people, which I presume d3mon used (and if I somehow survive 'till tomorrow, myself will use) for the benefit of the Town. ABigDeer, are you limited to just neighborizing, or do you have other abilities as well?
  4. Well, I trust EM. Mostly because I can vouch he's the lightning rod and used his powers. So I call bluff on Yates successfully watching someone else that night. You're getting lynched tomorrow when I flip townie.
  5. I've been eager to answer to all pertinent questions and points. I replied to your points here and answered the "vital question" here stating that it's unwise that the Investigator (is there is any) comes out publicly to be gibbed. And in any case, how likely is it to have investigated either you or me already, as we're just on day 3? I attempted to protect EM on the first night. He wasn't targeted of course, Lurch was. Thus my protection went to waste.
  6. Well, I am getting lynched this evening, no? Hard to protect someone when you're dead. Because no one was successfully protected on night 1. I can only neighbor who I successfully protect.
  7. I thought this was my counterclaim? And I love your argument. "Investigate me on day 3! Then I can prove my innocence when you're already dead!" I could say the thing about myself, that they should spare me the lynching and investigate me tonight. Also, if I were the Investigator I'd keep quiet so that I'm not revealed and targeted tomorrownight. Why do you want townsfolk to come out to the open so fervently?
  8. A. Kindly point to a game in the entire history of internet mafia with a Doctor/Neighborizer. Thanks. I'm afraid I can't establish a precedent regarding this, but this game. B. Kindly explain why your predecessor name claimed a villian that is not a movie monster. Thanks. Because he's (I'm) not? C. Kindly explain who the Town Investigator is if not me. Thanks. Well, I can't say who is, but I can say that you're not. I am sure that EM is the lightning rod, and if you tried to investigate anyone last night, it would have been him. You're claiming you did not investigate anyone last night? Why would you forgo to use one of the most useful night abilities? So either you're telling the truth and not done an investigation last night (which was pretty stupid), or you did and investigated EM (which you claimed you didn't; making you a liar) or you're not an investigator (and lying again) So, which one is it?
  9. Well I'll be damned. I might not have a fancy medical degree, and my experience involves dead people and a bottle of whiskey, but if you start arguing about a misspelling in a word and automatically assume I'm scum, you might be reading too hard between the lines. Almost desperately hard.
  10. Are you making this part up or did it come from your role PM? It is concordant with the role PM, but I made it up
  11. I probably went about this all the wrong way. I'm a doctor, I make people better. I just wanted everyone to be okay... http://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/original/1/17722/1490313-01.jpg I am Doctor Ned, and I'm here on behalf of the Count for... financial reasons. No one know better than the now-deceased Dracula that corpse reanimation makes for a very... lucrative opportunity. Of course, I swore the Hippocraticus oath. I think. And harming is not my trade. But if someone ends up soon after their death, as in, someone tried to kill them during the night, I might not be able to save them... in their natural, living, form. With the bat dead, fiends preying on us innocent townsfolk, and a lot of scary needles at my disposal, I set up to perform my trade on the recently deceased. Which, due to my human limitation of non-ubiquity, find myself hard to perform to the best of my abilities. The first night, I failed to protect my target, but the second night... out of sheer unexpected chance, I found the agonizing EM on my way to Yates' house and helped him... recover. Of course, what with the zomb... recuperating stage he's at the moment, that requires him to be my neighbor for obvious medical reasons. And that, my friends, is what happened. A lot of events converging upon the figure of the lightning rod and a rare (Exotic, if I might say myself) breed of doctor not stemming from formal education. I must admit my looks are less than reputable, and my mustache has made grown men weep in tears in sight of it's glory, but there are stranger creatures in this room, and my intent is not to kill or maim any of you. Unless they have been killed or maimed already. I've baked some brownies as well! You want one?
  12. For the record, let's go through what happened last night. We know for a fact that nothing visible changed. That means that either: a. No one was targeted to be killed. b. The one that was targeted to be killed was protected by the Doctor c. The Doctor protected the wrong person, but the lightning rod attracted everything to him, getting killed, healed, and neighbored in the process. I personally go with c, as it is what happened. How do I know that? Because I am the Doctor, as my predecessors have clearly stated. The a scenario is highly unlikely, and it would go in direct contradiction with what EM and myself has stated, not to mention common sense. And b is probably the most likely scenario if I were unaware of what happened last night. As such, my take on events thus far is: EM is telling the truth. You, Yates, were targeted for protection, but the lightning rod attracted the killings and the healings. Me, as the good Doctor, decided to heal and *ahem* reanimate the poor man whose luck attracted both good and evil last night, and is now living comfortably next to me to recuperate. Now, since my predecessors admitted openly to be the Doctor, I am, of course, a prime target of elimination. Which means that, whether I am lynched through a popular vote or through mauling, my time is short. And who is more eager to cut my time short here than Yates? I'm glad you're admitting that I am, in fact, a neighborizer Just get the other half right, and maybe I'll do it!
  13. 1. Scum decided to no kill to set up this lightning rod deal.2. Scum tried to kill me [the tracker] and failed [bP] 3. Scum tried to kill Daniel and failed [bP] Also, you made another huge mistake. You just said your slot healed and neighborized EM. This would seem to indicate that EM was the target. That is at odds with d3mon claiming he healed ME last night. Finally, if you are going to try to cast aspersions on me at least have the decency to read the day phase. You seem to still be harboring under the illusion that I’m sticking with my watcher claim. Tisk tisk. That's an interesting theory, except it's wrong. Regardless of who D3mon targeted, the lightning rod here would have absorbed the attack, which he did. I know that my fate is cast. I just hope you do the right thing and lynch this dlip-flopping scum once I'm dead.
  14. Yes, that would be EM, who I healed, and is now my neighbor.
  15. Indeed, that's how it works.
  16. The cat's out of the bag, no? I'm a doctor, and as unlikely as it seems, I healed him and neighborized him. It seems very unlikely Well, it's the truth And if you're voting to lynch me, please refute the arguments I said.
  17. The cat's out of the bag, no? I'm a doctor, and as unlikely as it seems, I healed him and neighborized him.
  18. Well, let me ask you something. Why were there no kills last night? Maybe, just maybe, the lightning rod converged everything on him last night, and he was killed, and revived and neighbourized at the same time, as our friendly ghost kindly pointed out. In fact, the only discrepancy is YOU having watched someone else that night. I know you like math, and statistics. Which one is more likely? That he's telling the truth, in concordance with last night's events, including the fact that no one visited you and you're lying about your role (you scum), or that EM and me are lying, and it's just one big fat coincidence and you're the only one telling the truth?
  19. Hum. Yates, your reckless voting only works to endanger our townsfolk. Once I see a serious claim against my medical prowess, I shall assume you're working for the werewolves... if not one yourself.
  20. /me raises hand as a replacement
