Well, we arent under a dictatorship, the elected parliament has mandated the Army to clean up the mess and has provided the legislative tools for it to do the job. Is it the ideal scenario? no, ideally, Army should be at border, but ideally, there should'nt be people blowing up other people in Mosques, Churches, Schools and Parks and ideally the civil govt should be able to handle the situation. So, do I care if there is injustice and a terrorist accomplice gets life in prison instead of months?...Nopes. And to be honest, so what if Army is used for internal security? I dont think Police anywhere is trained to fight battle-hardened, well trained, well equipped terrorists. In America, they are all jolly with Coffee and Donuts, here they're all jolly with Samoses and Teas, so what's the fuss, cops are cops, lol. Even the French deployed the army and enabled Emergency laws, the threat we face is significantly larger than what the French or Europe overall faces, so, yea, I dont really care if our amendments puts patriot act to shame, I hope it does, because we also face a larger threat.

The ONLY parties in the parliament that were not happy about it were the religious ones, who abstained from voting. So, I dont see a problem here. I'm sorry, we tried the politically correct-er versions for the past 10-12 years, peace talks were done, cease-fires were made etc etc. Let's not get melodramatic here and call it martial law. You should probably check with your Parents what life was under Zia's martial law. I watched today, I literally dozed off in the first 30 minutes, but the movie had my full attention by the end and overall, I'd say I liked it. I think the start and mid are big slow, bit disconnected, flow is not smooth, things dramatically take a good turn towards the end. The script made you cringe at some points. But yea, it was good entertainment. I'd give it 6.5/10, 10/10 being the likes of momento, inception, new Star trek series.
