That's a load of rubbish if I've ever heard it..." Preston laughed incredulously as AKCPLUTO took a step back from the group nervously, trying to protest his innocence. "Look! It's obvious, right? I got a job here!" "Oh, come on..." Ccabal joined in now, laughing slightly at the now-trembling AKC. "That's a bit coincidental, isn't it? After that lifeguard that survived the last thing, you expect us to believe this?" "YES! Look, I'm sorry, I made a mistake yesterday!" He pleaded. This wasn't working, so he tried another angle, pointing a finger at CCabal. "Look! He's blatantly just joining the bandwagon!" A flash of anger could be seen momentarily in Ccabal's eyes, but AKC was saved from being beaten personally - at least for the moment. TerrorChrist now took a step toward. "That's a bit of a weak defence, isn't it?" The debate raged on but there was little AKCPLUTO could do to defend himself. Preston walked towards him angrily, knife from the supermarket in hand, but was beaten to it as reign of terror took a run past him and leapt onto the helpless AKC, who fell backwards. His head hit the tiled floor of the supermarket with a horrible crack. Breathing heavily, reign of terror hauled himself up onto his knees and began to search the dead AKC's pockets. He pulled out a wallet, and began to flick through. TerrorChrist simply stared at the ongoing search nervously. The other two glanced at each other. "Oh, god..." Said reign of terror as he found one of the cards. He tossed it back to ccabal86, who caught it and looked. It identified AKCPLUTO as an ex-employee of the IRONTown Swimming Pool, where he had worked as a lifeguard. AKCPLUTO, Cowardly Ex-Lifeguard, has been lynched. What happened after that was a blur of movement. ccabal86 dropped the dead lifeguard's ID card and got to his knees, reaching into a holster concealed beneath a trouser leg. He whipped out the pistol and took aim at reign of terror, still on his knees. Preston took the knife he had been holding and leapt desperately, arm poised to strike. The shot rang out, ccabal barely blinking as the pistol went off in his hand. Mere moments later, reign of terror twitched and fell backwards, the bullet which had lodged itself in his chest causing a wound which was slowly leaking blood. Letting out a cry of terror, TerrorChrist took a step backwards, barely dodging Preston's flailing blade. He ran a few steps as Preston regained his balance and grabbed the nearest thing to hand - a mesh shopping basket from beneath one of the checkouts. He swung it wildly as Preston charged towards him once more, catching the Mafioso off-guard and hitting him in the face. He dropped the knife with a cry as he stumbled forward, and TerrorChrist turned round, raising the basket to strike again just as the second shot rang out. Suddenly there was silence in the supermarket, save for the clang of the empty basket hitting the floor, and TerrorChrist slowly slumping backwards, life extinguished. Ccabal reached over and extended a hand to help Preston to his feet. "Cheers Boss." "No problem..." Godfather Tony laughed as he helped his partner up and, together, they walked towards the exit. "This place is ours now..." reign of terror, Customer, has been killed. TerrorChrist, First-Aid Ex-Lifeguard, has been killed. THE MAFIA WIN! As the sun rises and hits the sleeping occupants of the supermarket, they all slowly wake up. Eager now after yesterday's success, they make their way back to the checkouts to see if a return to their previous location would bring the same luck as it had the day before. But it was no surprise to any of them when it seemed that someone was missing. They found CanucksDynasty face-down underneath one of the checkouts where he had been sleeping. In the corner were a few shopping bags which seem to have been a few days old. He clearly wasn't a member of the mafia - just an unfortunate shopper who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. CanucksDynasty, CUSTOMER, has been killed. It is now DAY FOUR. Deadline for today is Saturday 11th June.

The sun was going down over the supermarket by the time the townsfolk reached their decision, and it was Electric Mango who faced their wrath. "No! No, people! I work here! Look!" He took out a name badge from his pocket, identifying him as a manager of the supermarket - but it was too late to stop the horde of townsfolk, who jumped on him. Electric Mango fell back onto one of the checkout belts, struggling as he repeatedly punched by the furious townsfolk. It was Preston who delivered the final blow, using the card reader to bash Electric Mango over the head. He slumped down from the belt, and as he hit the floor, there was the sound of a clatter. A handgun had dropped from a holster on his leg and now fell onto the floor. The townsfolk had finally found one of the mafia. Electric Mango, CORRUPT MANAGER aka Mafia One-Use Role Cop, has been lynched. It is now NIGHT THREE. NIght actions to me by Saturday!

Yes guys, this is the real deal! I'll be creating the Setup (and writing at least the intro), and RoT has kindly offered to mod the setup for me since I'll be busy with exams and the like. More information coming soon...

Prophet of Pestilence - Altaria

Hey guys - exam season is fast approaching and as such, I won't be able to run the next game. If anyone else wants to have a go, feel free - and if you want any advice on how to create / balance / run your game, feel free to drop me a PM. The MafiaScum wiki is also a goldmine for such information.

Day dawns, and the mood is grim within the supermarket. When everyone wanders in, the sound of the freezers working away is the only sound that can be heard throughout the building save the odd stifled yawn. No-one was sleeping very much, all too scared that if they closed their eyes it would be their last time to do so. Sleep came eventually, though - eyelids dragging themselves down after most of the night had passed, and when it came it was fitful, dreams of a knife inexplicably flashing in the pitch black. The survivors gathered round near the checkouts. But the more of the morning passed, the more it was clear that one person was missing. The body of KevinH was found face-down in the staff canteen upstairs. For some reason, a pile of stock reports was in front of the table he had been sleeping at next to a now-bare plate. But after a brief search, it became clear - he wasn't mafia. He worked at the supermarket - and seemed very dedicated to his job. Almost fitting, then, that he took a bullet for it. KevinH, DEDICATED EMPLOYEE (aka One-Use Martyr), has been killed. It is now DAY THREE. Deadline for today is Monday 23rd. With 7 Alive, 4 is needed to lynch.

It's OK, I'm not about much now anyway, just for this and the odd visit to the B&G.

Well, well! Welcome back! I would imagine sign-ups will be opening for another game in a few weeks after the next day in the current one - we just go for one at a time right now. Not sure who's going to run it but I'll be sure to let you know when sign-ups open!

Unvotes do not count after a majority has been reached... CaoCao was next to be accused. The first accusation was almost casual, but after he refused to respond suspicion quickly grew. Eventually enough of the stranded townsfolk were suspicious enough that CaoCao was picked up and pushed back into a shelf, hard. He hit his head on the back of a crate and slumped down, seemingly unconscious. "Oh, my god... guys! GET BACK!" It seemed the shove into crates had dislodged a crate of antiseptic liquid that had been lurking on the top shelf - and in a warehouse, that's a long way up. The crate fell on top of the stricken CaoCao with a sickening crack. For a while after the dust settled, there was a horrible silence. But eventually, someone recovered enough to shove the bottles and broken crate aside to check the body. "There's nothing here... but he'd pocketed a few CDs." The fact that he was a lawbreaker did nothing to dispel the townsfolks' shame. He wasn't a member of the mafia they were looking for, that's for sure. CaoCao, SHOPLIFTER, has been lynched. Nerau had sat down following the fall of the crate, and now his eyes were shut. It wasn't until a few minutes after CaoCao's body was found that someone turned round to find him lying on the floor, deathly pale. He had finally died after his miraculous recovery. Nerau has died. It is now NIGHT TWO. Night actions to me by Sunday night.
