I wrote a rather lengthy response, but I decided not to bother you with my perspective. You just keep doing you.

My nephew got exposed to Covid again last week, but he’s testing negative and I’m looking forward to seeing him tomorrow. I mentioned Covid toes earlier, that was almost 2 yrs ago, and he’s fine. Covid toe is very, minor, just pain and discoloration that goes away within a couple of weeks. My point was that some people are sicker than others and there’s no way to predict how anyone will react. I’m triple vaxxed and very glad about it, but still very cautious. How are you doing? Is your family well? Any fun holiday plans? . Says the Regressive party that doesn't like evolution, both scientific or societal. Politicians, or anywho, can come out and declare COVID being over. Perhaps you should get Herman Cain to do the victory speech?

Trump got a cold, and they made a big deal out of it. You can believe that Joe Biden really got that many votes, and I can believe it was rigged. I can believe that Climate Change is an engineered crisis that Progressives want to use to benefit their agenda for a one world government. You can believe if we quit eating hamburgers and driving cars, we can change the way the planet evolves. We can only speak our minds and try to make sense out of it all. The beautiful thing about being a human is our amazing ability to believe whatever we want. The hard part is respecting the beliefs of others. My problem is I have no tolerance for stupidity.Are there facts in your universe? Is all perception reality? When you feel intolerant of stupidity is it possible you’re the fool? If you don’t believe in something, does that mean it doesn’t exist? Are almost all medical professionals lying to their patients? Why would trump announce he had Covid when it was a little cold? Most important is the question raised earlier, why are most world leaders pretending there’s a disease killing us when it doesn’t even exist? Why are they ALL lying?

I have not read back in this thread. IDK who has said what. I just want to say that my high school friend was infected and hospitalized with COVID in March 2020. He is a long hauler, who has had organ after organ start to fail or completely fail. My best friend's entire household had it in Feb. 2021. Her 16 year old son was sick for months after being infected. For her, it was like the flu. My nephew (23 y/o) had COVID toes in 2020, thank goodness it was his only symptom! I know at least 6 people who lost one or more family members to COVID. The point is that its real and there's no way to know how any individual will react to having it. Getting vaccinated lowers the risk of getting infected and those who are vaccinated have a much lower risk of serious illness if they do get infected. I know a lot of people who have been infected. Most of the time they recovered. But that's consistant with the information that's been disseminated. The majority fo those infected survive. Will you be one of the unlucky ones if you're infected? I'd rather not play the odds when my health is at stake. Some people react badly to the vaccine. Proportionatly, fewer people get serious side effects than people get seriously ill from covid infections. You know why no one gets small pox vaccines anymore? Because the vaccine wiped out the disease. Small pox does not exist outside laboratories. Just saying. BTW, after 9/11 I was recruited to be a first responder and I learned more than I ever want to know about Small Pox, anthrax, and other scary diseases. The vaccines are all a lot more dangerous, painful, and deadly than COVID vaccines. You can decide that there is a massive world wide hoax and all the natations' leaders are in on spreading misinformation, but why?

That's unfortunate. There are a lot of current events, and there is one specific current event that has blessed us with plenty of time to have conversations. I often wonder after 3 years time, if you have softened your hatred for the man that won that election, and in turn, softened your hatred for those of us that chose to support him over the other unpopular candidate. I can see those wounds you endured, have never healed. But, what I want you to know most of all is we did not vote for Donald Trump to hurt you... we voted for Donald Trump because we felt he was the best choice to lead the USA to prosperity. I didn't know if Trump would be a good President back in October 2016... I had no other choice but to support him at the time... but I know for a fact I did the right thing now. We have completely different visions on what makes a successful country, and I have seen my version of success in more ways, and much faster, than I ever imagined possible. Pretty damn hard when half of the country hates his very existence, and pulls out every butt spider possible to try to stop him. I've seen a lot during my time... I get it. It would be great if we could all get to where we respect each others opinions again. Maybe in another 4 years? Forgive me if I’m a little bit off at the moment, I just had a glass of champagne at a zoom party celebrating my nephew’s graduation. I almost never drink, and I am dictating this through Siri, so I’m sure much of it will be miss transcribed. I’m a little too buzz to care about that though. You completely misunderstand me. There are very few people who I hate, and you are not one of them. I just think that you are misguided, stubborn, and not really interested in a true, open minded conversation. Historically discussions with you about current events have been quite disappointing. I think we both do our best, but I take issue with the way you have approached conversations. I can talk about the crimes that Trump committed and was impeached for, you will argue that the Senate didn’t convict, I’ll retort with something about moscow mitch openly working with the defense team and refusing to have an proper trial, you’ll dismiss that as sour grapes or just not acknowledge the facts. I could bring up emoluments, election tampering, gross mismanagement of the COVID-19 crisis, but the same pattern of what I just described will play out. Lys, you are a valued and helpful member of this in alliance and I respect that. You might be a lot of fun to hang out with IRL But arguing with you is just an exercise in futility. So glad everyone is doing well. I have a close family member who got it. He’s recoving. My patients’ relatives have died from it, I’m doing grief counseling on FaceTime. I’m a bit stressed, myself. For someone who objects to fake news I would think you would realize that video is bull crap, and not spread it. SMH
