  1. Hmm, well looks like some sort of harbor or shipyard. I just did a cursory scan of the northern coasts of the Netherlands, Germany, and parts of Denmark and Poland, with a lot of similar shipyards but no exact hits. I guess a good question to ask first would be, is the image in Europe?
  2. Bingo! onbekende: 8**** FOReverNShade: 4 Yehom: 3 War 2nd Horseman: 2 Theophilos: 1 sap3179: 1 Rhizoctonia: 1 sffc1: 1 Friff: 1 I don't have time right now to make another one but I should have time tomorrow. If someone else wants to make the next one, that's cool, too
  3. The correct philosopher is indeed on that list. Peggy kept reading to discover that he was a teacher of Neoplatonism, and he lived before Maimonides. The street crosses the Yarkon River.
  4. Indeed! Peggy looked on Wikipedia for the person after whom the street was named. She discovered that it is a Jewish philosopher from the eleventh century CE.
  5. Correct. Time to start guessing cities and streets.
  6. No, keep trying
  7. Still too far east. Peggy found this map of the so-called Arabian "peninsula" and found her current city on it.
  8. No, too far east.
  9. Correct region Can you drill down on the country/city?
  10. No, slightly warmer but still cold. Look at the language in the signs and stuff.
  11. I'll make one I need the link to this location in Google Streetview. http://i.imgur.com/RDomZEN.jpg
  12. Is it the crater of a volcano in the Great Rift Valley? Maybe Mount Longonot? Also, you should start photoshopping Peggy the Pink Panda into the pictures. I can upload the original panda pictures if they would be helpful.
  13. Wow that's quite an interesting building! It looks like we're still in Europe (there are some mopeds in the picture and not very many people drive mopeds in the states). Was the country an axis power in World War II?
  14. I found it https://maps.google.com/?ll=71.168789,25.782477&spn=0.001299,0.009924&t=m&z=17&layer=c&cbll=71.168789,25.782482&panoid=TTpI69wzpZoOOjIerjwahQ&cbp=11,25.14,,0,9.05 Seems to be the northernmost point in continental Europe.
  15. Is it in Finland?
  16. Ok, I've spent half an hour looking around airports north of the Arctic Circle with no luck. Is it in Scandinavia?
  17. Well I think that's a weather bubble in the picture. The direction sensor is pointing north, or else I would guess the South Pole. Is it north of the Arctic Circle?
  18. Is it in France?
  19. Is it in Italy?
  20. Is it located on the Iberian peninsula?
  21. Does the country in which it is located speak a romance language as the official language?
  22. Cool! I'll try doing this as best I can with only yes/no questions Is it in Europe?
  23. Yes, that is the correct location! onbekende: 7**** FOReverNShade: 3 War 2nd Horseman: 2 Theophilos: 1 sap3179: 1 Rhizoctonia: 1 About Bing Streetside, yeah I have an icon that it looks like you don't have. I think it just has to do with your locale. If you look in the URL, can you find where it says "mkt=de-de" and change it to "mkt=en-us" ? That should give you the Streetside icon. (You can change it back to "mkt=de-de" when you are finished using Streetside.) Your turn!
  24. Could you give a link to the location with a pin dropped, or possibly in google streetview? Second, could you be more specific about Bing Streetside not working for you? (OOC, I work for Bing user experience) And I can't wait for you to make the next image, because I'm going to be the one who guesses.
