Vote: No Lynch I honestly dont believe mario is scum after last time and Imran had a excellent defense so I think no matter who we vote for between the 2 we are killing town. Letting mafia gain a kill and letting the vigilante do his work may be the best approach. Quick Analysis: I Bet my bottom dollar that there will only be 9 people left in the game left after next night and assuming normal mafia percentages it would be most likely that mafia are 1 night away from a majority. If we dont lynch today 10 people will remain delaying them to a 2 day majority or if we lynch mafia today we gain ground. I hope we can stop them but a no lynch today is essential.

You say it like this is a defined rule for someone playing scum, a scum player can behave exactly like a townie would behave, there isn't any defined behaviour that differs a scum from a townie. Lets Get This Party Started! Slightly Amended Rules. Increased Presidential Power W/Bodyguard and reduced townie and mafia votes to 1.

Introduction: Welcome to Emudevelopment's Congressional Mafia Signup! I have played a few games of mafia on this fourm and on MafiaScum so I have decided to mod a game! I understand that there are a few games going on right now so this game may occur much later on. Here's my new concept: Concept/Setup: Congressional Mafia is a mafia variant where the town does not vote to lynch. Instead each townie gets 1 votes(and so does the mafia) for who they want to elect to congress. The time constraints are much more relevant in this game as the winners will be decided by the end votes at the end of 2 DAYS. Once a Congress has been elected the representatives which could be mafia decidede with a 2/3 majority who the town lynch goes to.If the congress cannot reach a 2/3 majority(Unlikely) the vote turns over to the president a town role revealed first day with the ability to 'Veto' a congressional decision something that can only be overturned by a 3/3 consensus or break a voting tie or make a decision when congress cant decide. The presidents abilities are generally early game good for scum so the president might not be the wisest first kill for a scum. If you are a congressmen for a night you are immune to being killed but you cannot use your power role if you have one. Mafia NK rules remain the same but you cant kill congressmen. If you are a mafia member in congress you can still vote in your chat for a NK but cant be the one to execute it. After a few days if the game is still active and there are less than 6 players alive the game plunges into 'Anarchy'. All normal voting rules preceed and the president is forced out of office. Town Setup: 7 Townies( With Power Roles Mixed In) 1 Presidential Bodyguard 1 President Mafia Setup: 3 Mafias Special Voting Laws: Town can vote to do the following things during day instead of voting for a congressmen(If you vote to do one of these things you cant vote for a congressmen unless you unvote that turn) Impeach the President: You may vote to impeach a president during the day in which case if you are successful the presidents role is forgoan and the president is assimilated into the town. If such a event does occur the next cycle of voting you must cast a normal vote and a special election vote where you decide whom to elect to the presidency. A very risky play. Requires 2/3 Majority Vote Enact Martial Law: If such a motion is passed the democratic voting is suspended for 2 day/night cycles. President Gains the Power of a Investigator(which he uses in the night) and the authority to Put someone on the 'Hanging Block'(Also at night) All normal discussion can occur and anyone can give suggestions to president no kills occur untill after and the president decides when each day concludes(3 RL day maximum per day). Once the martial law concludes the very next day the town must vote on whether or not to execute those on the hanging block and elect a new congress. All presidents powers return to normal. Requires 2/3 Majority Vote and Consent of President(President Vote In Favor) Night Patrols: If such a motion is passed no actions occur at night including the actions of the town power roles and the actions of congress. More or less a vote to extend discussion.Can only occur once every 5 days(So most likely may only occur once a game or not at all). How are me and mario working as a team? He unvotes and votes for whatever I vote quite honestly. I hate to say it but now it seems my vote has transfered to being a OMGUS vote and it seems like its time I correct that. I dont want to lynch another townie and I now firmly believe Imran is not scum. UNVOTE I am in a state in confusion on the wagon on mario. The main justification for it was a rather scummy attack by Samoos where he basically outlines that mario was scum last time and screwed things up so therefore Rafay would make him mafia again just to screw with us? Imran clearly joined it just to save his own skin which will throw town under the bus too in the end messing him up. The disturbing thing to me is that the town has no actual evidence as to who might be mafia that convinces me. As per now I dont have a vote and for us true townies it may just be over.

A revelution can be justified not a riot. This is a somewhat strange sentiment considering that aside from a few outliers, all revolutions have been composed of a series of riots using the definition given. Therefore, riots are unjustifiable until they succeed in bringing about political change, then all can be forgiven? How did the US become a country? Well, a bunch of violent crowds attacked the military of the governing colonial authority until that authority no longer had the means or desire to continue. Maybe we don't want to think of the Continental Army as being a bunch of rioters, but until the new American government had any international recognition, the members of that army were just crowds disturbing the peace through acts of violent rebellion. A justified revolution would be conducted by using a series of peaceful protests and media to rile up motiviation then would lead to conflict. Sure in the most literal of senses warfare in itself falls into the defintion which I admit makes it flawed. But in the sense of rioting unless you comply with these principles or are proposing a system of change in a place where a civil right has been violated after sensible debate and consideration and the agknowledment of war. In the sense of rioting that was more what I was going for but I conceed that it was not a perfect analogy/description. It was mean't to applied in a more narrow sense but I get it I made a mistake in delievery. Also everyone seems to revert to the American Revultion as the 'Gotcha' of righteous events but I doubt its a perfect event.
