Geocaching is a little different, instead of stamps you take and leave behind trinkets (rocks, toys, poems, rings, etc.), and there isn't always a log to sign. The caches aren't really owned per se, once they're set up you leave them be. Both are pretty fun, its a big hobby in my area, we have a cache in the museum I used to work in, brings in all sorts of people. As for mine: rock hounding, video/board/card gaming, books, biking, rock/mountain climbing, pretty much anything done outside, photography, driving/offroading, drinking .

Under the filter tab, go down to render, then to lighting effects. It'll give you several options on a light source (ie spot light, 3 lights, glow, etc.) and the ability to change teh color of that light source. This will only apply to one layer unless you duplicate it. Not sure if there's an easy way to get a fabric going, I often find a certain monochrome texture I like and set it as background, then overlay the flag pattern while messing with transparency. Another way is to keep playing with the ripple/wave distortion until you have the right amount of wiggle, then crop it back into a rectangular shape.

Looks good, only thing I'd point out is on the text, parts wash out when near similar shades from the background, some sort of contrasting feature (ie shadow, border) might be good.
