I did not Going by my personal reaction, getting defensive to SM's probe, I tried it on him, and got a good response (why me? ) vs trying to defend himself (no, not me, I am town, if you lynch me you will lose a town) after one vote. Thing is, I never said I knew how many mafia there are. I said 'if there are 5 mafia players, the probability of finding one from the 18 players by a lucky guess is 27%'. That was the obvious meaning. 5 was simply an assunation going by past history. Speaking of which, how do YOU know how many scum there are?

I'm willing to lynch someone that is scummy, and take the small risk that they are a town making a mistake or under the Imperius Curse, rather than lose one town for no benefit. And obviously, scummy in the above paragraph must be so obvious that it gets 9 votes.

Regarding the whole 1ceCream thing, it looked to me like you were bandwagoning by following my vote, and potentially trying to get him lynched. Your clarification relieved my doubt. Re the 'former scum likely not scum', this was based on my being innocent, I made a miatake there. I did not know that it was random, I just thought that TW would not assign us 4 former scum the same roles. I know thia i wrong. Talks and talks and talks -- yes. I have lots of free time today. I could be over enthusiastic... COD, your points are valid. I have indeed been 'trying too hard'. I merely wanted to try and help town. When I play scum I don't post enough and get lynched, when I play town I post too much and get FOS and votes Sister Midnight -- that is motly mu viewpoint, but like 1ceCream, we do need to make sure it is a scum we lynch, and not a town. Based on previous games and a guess 5 scum sounds reasonable and doing the maths, we have a 1/4 chance of finding them by pure guesswork... but to increase those chnces, probing and prodding is the way to go. Kevin does make a valid poiny re no of votes --- either need a really scummy person that makes loads of mistakes like me D1 to N2 last game or hope for the best. Honestly, reading my posts, I honestly would vote for myself right now if I had a multi playing. I have made mistakes. I am trying to do my best. That person by person analysis especially is rather suspicious, but I am also the sort of person that just likes to write their feelings and thoughts... and that is what I am thinking so far. Based on his second post just above mine, Samus, I think he is doing the right thing. If someone acts scummy, we should lynch them, rather than no-lynch 'because we could lynch a townie'. You could lynch me, for example. I know my VT role claim must look suspicious for being so early. For the sake of Hogwarts, I hope you will not
