Gonna bring this back because this is starting to feel less like mafia and more like a spam thread. the vast majority of the d1's recently have been like this. not much content and just posting to post, then ending in a no lynch I feel like it's just because D1 is hard to get any reads on, naturally. You have the random vote phase that is tradition, and nobody knows what's what. So you either have to wait for people to be lurking, say something weird, a wagon to form, or any pressure at all, really.

Not really sure I've been pointing fingers all "gung ho" like you say, but it is what it is. Really need to take a look at those D1 wagons, 'cause that MK one had scum on it. No way they wanted to bus their rolecop D1 until it was obvious

With a 14 player game, I'm guessing 3-4 scum. Though with more players, gotta start looking out for the possibility of there being a 3rd party (read: SK). Other than that, who knows, closed setups got us all guessin'

Well, the good news is, we're not at LyLo, the bad news is we lost our jailer. Scum seem to be hitting the most active players to make it easy to lurk around. Watch this space for more later tonight/tomorrow.

MK almost seems as a more tomorrow problem, or a problem that can be saved for a vig tonight. Robert could as well, I suppose, but I don't want to flip to MK only for him to not have a chance to claim and him flip jailkeeper or vig.

Also, I'll be on before the deadline tomorrow, so if he has a good defense, I'm willing to unvote, but right now I will keep my vote on him.

Alright. We're less than 24 hours from the deadline here, and I'm going to give some thoughts. MK is absolutely acting suspicious, but from what I can tell, it almost seems as if it's more due to their history of acting in a suspicious manner, as I've picked up on them "always" getting D1 lynched, or acting suspicious a lot. Call it a gut feeling, but I don't believe MK to be scum currently. Robert, on the other hand, has been acting quite a bit like scum. Putting aside his advocacy for no lynch, which is absolutely something that the scum would want in this setup, he's acted quite scummy otherwise, up to and including randomly claiming without the slightest amount of pressure. I'm busy studying for finals right now, so I won't pull up specific examples, but he's acted scummy on more than one occasion. Vote Robert

Why am I not voting? I'm still getting reads, trying to determine who, of those I have got some good reads on, seems the scummiest to me, and then I'll vote. Even though D1 is random, it doesn't have to be all bandwagons and vote hopping.

I would advise the vig to not be too trigger happy - we have a better chance of accidentally offing the jailkeeper via vig than via a lynch

You don't have to vote for anyone. I haven't voted for anyone yet because I'm trying to get reads and see how people like to play, since I haven't played with y'all before. Your vote doesn't always have to be on someone, and joining an easy bandwagon is very sus. Playing the statistics game isn't really the most useful thing. Also, would throw out there that deciding rolls based on who it is and not randomness would be incredibly bad form for moderating, so I doubt that's really even a good argument. I'm not going to join the wagon that seems to be forming, but FOS Velocity Got double ninja'd. I think velocity has 3 votes on him.
