Welcome to the IRON Gaming Channel! Tonight we have a special treat as Narsis hosts what he(and we considering our poor ratings as of late) hopes is the next big game show! He calls it Guess Who Mafia.

Ever played that board game Guess Who? The one where players pick a person from the deck and then try to guess who the other player has by asking yes/no questions about them. What about mafia? The game of persuasion, logic, and good old fashioned murder mystery. Well whether you have or haven't now is your chance to watch these 5 players duke it out in a twisted combination of the two! Who will win? Let's find out!

The Rules

1. Days will last a week; nights will last 48 hours.

2. At deadline the player with the most votes dies. If there is a tie the first player to get to that number of votes is lynched. Should no one have been voted, a player will be lynched at random.

3. During the day the town(as a whole) may also ask the mod a single yes/no question about the mafia. This question must be related to the revealed information section. (Examples: Is the mafia's hair brown? Is the mafia a guy? etc. Examples of what not to ask: Is CD the mafia? Is KevinH not the mafia?) It must be asked in bold.

4. There are only two options for each category(hair: brown/black, eyes: brown/green, sex: guy/girl, skin: dark/light, accessories: glasses/necklace).

6. Upon death a persons info will be fully revealed. Additionally, one of the living players at the start of each day will be revealed in full.

5. Everything else should already be known to you guys since you've all played mafia before and I'm not about to throw out any major surprises. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Everyone has confirmed. It is now Day 1. Deadline is July 15th. With 5 alive, majority lynch is 3.

Edit: also CD's info has been revealed(as per rule 6).

IF mafia can nightkill...
We only have one mislynch to give.
D2 will be left with 3 players...it'll be LYLO.
So we can only ask 1 question.

IF mafia cannot nk...
We have 2 mislynches to give.
D3 will be left with 3 players...it'll be LYLO.
So we can ask 2 questions.



Rule #1... says the day lasts a week...so deadline should be next Thursday.
Rule #2...I doubt mafia would let no one get voted as he has 1/5 of a chance to be randomly lynched.

I'm pondering the Yes/No question. I think if we include 2 characteristics, it might be more beneficial.
For instance, if we know that the mafia has brown hair, then that puts suspicion on CD but it's really only a 50% chance that he'd be scum.

On the other hand, if we ask and are told that the mafia has brown hair and brown eyes, then there's a whole lot more suspicion on CD. The downside to this approach is that we are more likely to get a "no" answer and we'd be faced with a blind guess the second day, too.

I'll come out and say this...I'm townie.
Use me as a baseline for the questions.

IF I have the same characteristics (ie. brown hair) as mafia...then lynch me.
Mafia would probably keep me around as it is better have an additional suspect with the same characteristics.

IF I don't have the same characteristics then I suggest going to a no vote (ie. no lynch).
This will give the townie 1/5 chance that mafia will get lynched.

IF mafia has a nightkill...then most likely I will be dead as I will be a confirmed townie.

The only way I should live is if I don't have the same characteristics and mafia doesn't have a nightkill.
Or I was protected by the doc (if we have one).

I would suggest keeping the questions simple like "does mafia have brown hair"?
2 characteristics in one question might result in an answer always being "no".
For example... "does mafia have brown hair and brown eyes?" ... the answer might be "no"....(he has brown hair and black eyes).
And we've just wasted our one question.

Can we construct our question like this
Does the mafia has (brown hair and brown eyes) or (black hair and green eyes) ? or something similar
like in programming :]

I get what you are thinking.

IF the answer is YES...we would instantly know that mafia has either brown hair and brown eyes or black hair and green eyes.
IF the answer is NO...then mafia would have black hair and brown eyes.

I think it could work ... cuz it has to be a question in which will result in a YES/NO answer.
IF that is the case...I'd go with your suggestion.
