"No, and ill never smoke"

-Expensive

-Only good in that they relieve the addiction crave which only exists from being addicted to them in the first place.

-Smell gross to everyone around (unless they smoke too)

-Linked to cancers and diseases - Although, as others have pointed out "everything is" Yes, but in lower levels of correlation (In general / in-comparison to things thought to be less risky) or in less life threatening ways. Especially when it's added factors that are the biggest risk to your health, not a single one. Why keep doing something known to be risky when there are no real benefits?

-I never really understood the point considering the negatives.

-I could never think of anything beneficial about it.

I smoke about a half pack a day. I should probably quit before boot camp but it's harder than it sounds. I quit the bud though, that was easy.

Yes, habitually. About a pack a day.

Every time I think about quitting, I don't. This is because I don't know what I would do with my free time if I wasn't pissing spoiled little whiners off.

It also helps with writers block and long drives.

I smoked for about 16 years... it took 5 of that to quit. The thing that finally got me to stop was my wife and I wanted to have kids and I didnt want to have them growing up with that around them ( at least not from Mom and Dad). I was amazed at the crap that came out of my lungs after I stopped though ... man I should have taken pictures.

Used to social smoke every now and then, then gave up, really not worth it. Carried on with the weed for a while after, but I've stopped doing that as well now.
