I confirm, my disease is TV Personalities. I suppose this makes Daimos' role legitimate.

Also, if we are believing daimos, that makes him and ccabal townie. Which makes me doubt you again karl...... However that doubt isn't enough to vote for you on this day phase. I'd like to focus it down on theo right now because of how suspicious he is right now. However, I can't help but wonder which of you it will be.

 

woah there chaplain... don't go trying to point doubt on me when you're in baisicaly the same position as me. neither of us can be confirmed 100% as townie. AND you have a failed investigation on you just like i do. if ccabal thinks it failing on me is godfather-ish, then how about it redirecting? that seems more scummy, and doesn't draw everyone's attention like failing. but anyways, let's see if theo's role claim is legit first.

True that. But I was operating on my own basis of knowledge which includes my own townie role, which is why I didn't add in myself there. Sorry if it seemed like I was trying to draw attention away from myself because that wasn't the purpose there. I was just putting my thoughts out here so people know where I'm at.

 

Like I said though, I want to see a role claim from theo now or I'm going to vote for him.

Since were assuming there can only be 2 left against the town, the fact that hes claimed the disorder of 2 of those left alive, we can assume that he is townie.

 

I believe that theo needs to role claim. Because he says he has an investigation ability, however, daimos says his disorder is sadistic personality...... That seems like it would go with a serial killer type character quite well. Please role claim theo or I will have to assume that you are the serial killer and vote for you.

 

Also, if we are believing daimos, that makes him and ccabal townie. Which makes me doubt you again karl...... However that doubt isn't enough to vote for you on this day phase. I'd like to focus it down on theo right now because of how suspicious he is right now. However, I can't help but wonder which of you it will be.

 

I already role claimed Twice even. I am in fact a Cop.

 

As I indicated I investigated you during last night; on previous nights the following were investigated: Rafay - Acute Confusional State and BeeBs - Acute Confusional State.

 

My disorder is perfectly normal for a town based on madness If anything my sadistic personality gives me an edge when interogating would be law breakers >.<

Those investigations don't sound too legit....but what's more interesting is that you confirmed your sadistic personality....

 

So let's go back to how the game started...

Those investigations don't sound too legit....but what's more interesting is that you confirmed your sadistic personality....

 

So let's go back to how the game started...

Yeah, no offence, but I don think you can quite make the giant leap from someone being named a sadist to someone having a sadistic personalitiy disorder (sic!). Leaving aside that I'm not Shrieker the Sadist. Further more I said nothing about having a sadistic personality, I said I had a sadistic personality disorder. The use of the word disorder (above all something random) means that your atempt to simplčy equate the two is false and wrong.

 

Moving on to the investigations; simply stating that they don't sound legit means exactly nothing. You'll have to back up that "don's sound legit" with something substantial like ... I don't know facts That or raise the same level of scrutiny with both sets of investigations (ie Daimos'). The fact that my prior, shall we call them incarnations, had the misfortune of investigating two people with the same disorder is simply that a misfortune.

 

I would in general expect us to move from over simplistic generalization to some factual acusations, if we are to progress before we loose this game.

You can argue semantics, but that doesn't change that fact that out of all the people left, you are most likely to be Shrieker the Sadist with a "Sadistic Personality Disorder". Daimos got my disorder right (which is indeed TV Personalities), so that gives as much credibility to his roleclaim as it gets in a game like this.

You are completely wrong on that assumption. Semantics are pretty much what we've got left to identify any discrepancies. Furthermore I'm no where near the most likely to be Shrieker, your empty assumptions and far fetched connections aside. The fact that my disorder and his name both include "sadist-" proves exactly nothing. His name is Shrieker the Sadist, but we've no idea about his disorder or more of them. So I repeat, semantics are very much important since you offered nothing to back up your claim.

 

The sheer fact that I hide nothing gives more credence to my claims, than anything you've assumed about my character thus far.

 

Finaly your coment on the investigations. Investigations were made in the past, let me repeat that - in the past. They were only disclosed now, because I've only now joined the game. I can't quite see how I could have disclosed them sooner with either of the two still alive. Even leaving that aside, the investigation had a 50% ratio of success by own assumptions as Rafay was not scum. But naturally you neglected to add that to your assumption. So far you've done nothing to back up your claim, rather you've made assumptions which are at best contradictory.

Recurrent Depressive Disorder – It’s a good knowledge that you can kill yourself to cure your illness.

Emo – During the day, you will try to be depressed and pessimistic (this includes using sad emoticons).

Failure to follow your post restriction will either give you an additional restriction the following day or punish you with a modkill.

Self-Hatred - Because you have a very low self-esteem, one less vote is needed to lynch you.

Date A Stranger - During the night, you will try to find your soul mate that that will love and respect you more than your previous boyfriend. Your target will be notified that you are interested with him.

Starve to Death – You have to make sacrifices to maintain your sexy body.

It does absolutely nothing with the exception of saving money for charity.

Derbisol – Each night you can drug someone with Derbisol. Any attempts to cure that person’s insanity will fail.

Because of the potency of the drug, the target will temporarily be wizardly insane.

To protect everyone, the target will be safely locked in your cell for the night, preventing him from using his night action.

Background:

At any point, as many times as you want, you may travel back in time to observe past events.

However, to prevent time paradoxes, you're unable to change anything that happened before you entered your time machine during the trip.

Also, since you do get bored like any other human being and have no idea where to start looking, you're unable to observe any night actions.

 

Disorder:

Fregoli Delusion – Time traveling does that to you.

 

Abilities:

Time Traveling – You can read posts from the past!

You are Stendhal the Cop.

 

Background:

You keep the harmonious chaos in Madness Metropolis. You heard that criminals are on the loose.

You are tasked by the chief of police to investigate these low-life scums who try to destroy the city’s disorder.

 

Disorder:

Stendhal Syndrome – You are easily distracted and hypnotized by works of art. Good thing no crazy artists lives in the city.

 

Abilities:

Investigation – Each night, you may target a player to discover their mental illness, e.g. investigating yourself will yield the disorder Stendhal Syndrome.

 

Win Condition:

You win when all threats to the metropolis have been eliminated.

 

Alternate_Tree

 

You are an Anterograde Amnesiac Cop.

 

Background:

You can’t remember your past. You can’t even remember your name.

 

Disorder:

Anterograde Amnesia – Haven’t I told you about your condition yet?

 

Abilities:

Investigation – You have the ability to investigate one other player per night to determine their alignment, but there's a problem.

See, you have this condition. You can't form new memories. You just forget everything that happens to you.

So instead of trying to remember your night results, you write them down on little slips of paper.

 

There's only one problem, though: you keep forgetting where you put the little slips of paper.

You may investigate one other player per night to determine their allegiance, but you don't get the results.

The Mayor Speaks – Once and during twilight, you can prevent any lynch by PMing the mod.

Background:

You are unemployed as people avoid you because of your sweaty palms.

For some reason though, your fridge is always full and you have some money in your wallet when you wake up from bed.

Sweaty Palms – An acquired illness from numerous rejections from job interviews. Your handshakes are like grabbing a recently submerged sponge.

You win when all threats to the metropolis have been eliminated.

During the night:

 

You are Doctor Jekyll.

 

Background:

You’re a night-shift veterinarian who works very hard.

For some reason though, each time you stock your fridge with food and receive your monthly salary, they vanish without a trace.

You suspect that there is a thief taking advantage of your absence during the night.

 

Disorder:

Dissociative Identity Disorder – Two heads are better than one.

 

Abilities:

Night Miller - Each night, your split personality Dr. Jekyll will overpower your usual crazy self.

When you are investigated, you will appear as if you don’t have any mental illnesses.

 

Win Condition:

You win when all threats to the metropolis have been eliminated.

If killed during Day time, will appear Insane

Electric Mango

 

You are Mysophobiac Mandy.

 

Background:

You can’t stand dirt. You always try to wash your hands each time you hold the knob of doors that’s why your house lacks doors except for the front door.

You were a sickly child so that explains your fear or disgust of contamination and germs.

 

Disorder:

Mysophobia – 99.9% germ-killing disinfectants is never enough

 

Abilities:

OCD – Each night, you can detect whether you were targeted by someone as you can easily check whether your things are contaminated.

In the event that you are targeted by your victim, you will be forced to shoot him.

HA! We won!

 

Damn, this game was really hard to figure out...There was an insane (lol) amount of roleblockers/doctors here. At one point we thought we had killed one of our own, namely Eva999. The biggest help we got was from the ridiculous amount of no-lynch votes. It ensured for DAYS that we avoid detection or suspicion by vote patterns.

Karl revealing he can't be night-cured and Alternate_Tree revealing to be the cop were both very important pieces of info we could use. We might not have won without it KevinH's list was pretty helpful too, as both BeeBs and I ranked pretty high on the townie list.

 

Good job Team Sanity! And congrats to Kazio for a very well thought out game. This would have been way more fun with higher activity levels.

No!! darn, i was soooo convinced daimos was town...grr, one more night and i woulda won >.<

A most interesting game Kaz kudos to you. Team Sanity well played. I think sanes had a lot of abilities but we had more numbers. No my strategy will be a lynch every day. No lynches are useless and give mafia the cover and time needed to perform their actions w/o fear.

 

Nonetheless it was fun. I am so happy that I lasted so long in my second game as well.
